Great Price for the location
This apartment was a short walk to the Space Needle, Pikes Place, restaurants and bars. It was pretty clean and the neighborhood was safe.
Weekend in Seattle
Great location and nice clean unit. Once you are here you can walk everywhere and explore all the great sights Seattle has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.
misrepresentation by omission
My major complaint is that this 6th floor western exposure condo had NO CENTRAL HEATING/AIR and the temperature was 90 degrees when we arrived. The Stay Alfred people explained that because it was not required in Seattle, and it wasn't advertised that these units had air conditioning, I should have surmised that it didn't! Having booked a premium rate for 3 nights, wouldn't a normal person expect such a simple amenity?
Anyway, they refused a refund, so we toughed it out with a couple of fans & one small portable A/C unit that we found in the closet.
Also, the carpet was heavily soiled in the bedrooms.
Ask a lot of questions
Broken iron no one on site replaced it. Any needed maintanance takes about 48 hours. If owners plan to rent these lovely condos out they really need to do a thorough walkthrough to ensure all things are working. There is “24/7” number but they just duly note your concerns.
Location is fantastic in Belltown, you can walk to everything in the city. You are near the best restaurants and bars in the city. The apartment was clean, and as advertised. It is a plain room with all the essentials you need after a day exploring in the city. Room was clean. Sure there a few spots on the carpet, thin walls, and some of the blinds are bent, but it didn't bother us one bit. I would stay here again.
A true urban experience, this condo is very well located if you want to walk to most of the Seattle waterfront attractions and Pike Market. There is reasonably priced parking underneath the building but no assigned spaces, so scheduling your in’s and out’s is necessary to be sure you have a space. The unit itself is a little spartan in design but certainly functional. There’s a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Central air conditioning is not common in the northwest, but there were fans for every room if needed to move the air around. The beds were OK, but the pull-out really needs a new mattress. If you’re sensitive to city noises, this unit may not be for you. The building is two blocks from train tracks so you hear a rumble and crossing signals along with the ordinary truck and construction noises of a busy city. We carry ambient noise “music” on our electronic devises so none of that kept us awake, however. Four stars for convenience and functionality - all in all, a pleasant stay.
