We have recently completed a complete renovation and all appliances are new as is the bed.
I have lived in Fiji with my family twice in my life for a total of 11 years. My wonderful 21 year old son, Alejandro, was born there at the Suva hospital. I try to stay there as much as possible as Fiji is a most special place. I love Fiji so much that I write stories about it and hope to publish a book one day.
Your own private home in the middle of a beautiful town in Fiji. Pacific Harbour and the surrounding areas have a number of outdoor activities to enjoy from wonderful diving and snorkeling to golf, kayaking, paddle boarding, zip-lining, river rafting and boat trips for snorkeling and picnicking to outer islands as well as a boat trip up the river to visit an indigenous village. A long sandy beach is close by - a 6 block walk through the lovely streets of Pacific Harbour.
You can access the beach through The Pearl Hotel or there are other paths just off the highway. You can also talk a longer walk or drive(about a mile) to the Uprising Resort to access the beach. You can spend the whole day just relaxing, swimming and playing there.
Pacific Harbour also has a few cafes and restaurants and a grocery store for supplies should you want to eat in. There is a bank, ATM machines and small gift shops featuring local handicrafts and Fiji's famous Bula shirts and dresses.
The capital city of Suva is located less than an hour away by bus or taxi and worth a trip in order to see this small city's colonial style architecture, visit the historic Grand Pacific Hotel, the South Pacific museum and the large outdoor fruit, veggie and spice market.
Having lived in and loved Fiji for many years I am happy to provide any advice or guidance about your trip there which I hope will be spectacular. This is a new listing for me but I have been using AirBnB to rent another larger home in this neighborhood. I try to attend to each guest's needs and am available for any questions or guidance than you may have or need. I am a super host on AirBnB based on receiving excellent reviews from my many guests. You can read those reviews if you look at my other listing which is the Mahogany Villa.
I love the big garden area which you look out onto from your patio. When in Fiji I take a morning lap swim to start my day as well as jumping in and out several more times daily. I encourage you to do the same!
I also love the bedroom loft as it is spacious and overhangs the living room area giving a romantic feel to the entire bungalow.
Depending on the time of year, we sometimes have bananas and avocados ripening on trees in our yard. Help yourself!
