Loved Sally’s rental! It’s on the small side, but has no wasted space. And if the weather’s nice, you’ll be outside anyway. The kitchen is a great size, but if you cook a lot, there’s no dishwasher. The extra bathroom vanity is a bonus. Beautiful lot/setting, very peaceful. Will definitely consider staying there again.
The rental was perhaps the cleanest my wife and I have encountered in many trips from Kawaii to Namibia -- and it is much closer to home! My wife pounded the antique shoppes in several Hill Country towns, and I strolled down to the very nice dock to fish, catching a fine mess of bluegills which we will eat tonight. The place was easy to find. All of the systems in the unit worked fine. The only caution I offer is that from the front living room to the bunk area is a short step up, followed by a short step down into the kitchen/dining area. Just be aware to avoid tripping. We likely will return. My wife still has antiques to seek out, and there remain fish uncaught in LBJ.
Beautiful and peaceful
This cottage is exactly as it shows, beautiful, cozy and perfect for a couple. While the fishing from the bank wasn't as we'd hoped it would be, everything else was 100% spot on. Easy to find, quiet and serene. Enjoyed our morning coffee out on the patio, watching the cranes and other birds fly around and the squirrels play in the trees. Close to town and other areas near the lake. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave! Thank you for making it such a lovely vacation!
Thank you for another great review. Hope the fishing is better next time!
We really enjoyed our stay at the house, it is very comfortable, very clean. A nice place to get away to, we plan to go back again.
Thank you for the great review and please hurry back!
Nice quiet stay.
We really enjoyed this bungalow, so much so I want to buy one just like it on a lake nearer my home. The boat lift was very convenient not having to worry about wind banking our boat around. The cove was very calm and the neighbors very quiet. Management was professional.
If it is available in the future I will definitely be staying here again.
Clean and relaxing
We booked this little cabin for a mini vacation over Columbus Day weekend. The cabin was very clean, well stocked and we had everything we needed. A nice bottle of wine on the table with some snacks was a nice touch. Small but nice floor plan. Perfect for us and our 2 kids. Nice shade trees for sitting and relaxing. The cove is quiet. No boat traffic while we were there. We enjoyed Marble Falls for food. River City Grill was excellent and got food to grill there too. Also recommend Longhorn Caverns, Vanishing River Cruise and if you have kids Sweet Berry Farm. The only draw back was we didn't have a boat or the money to rent one. Was hoping the fishing would be good in the cove but it was too shallow and stumpy.
