Cozy little cottage situated on the most beautiful terrain of the site. It has two bedrooms, one has 3 single beds and the other has one double bed, there is the possibility of sleeping on the couch in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, microwave, coffee maker, etc. There is a patio door to go on to the terrace, there you will find a picnic table and a BBQ.
Also you have access at all times to the community room where you will find a pool table, pinball machine, foosball table, dart board, poker table, WII, X-BOX, cable TV, showers and washer and dryer.
On the lake there are two large inflatable water trampolines, water slide and dock. The beautiful sandy beach is appreciated by all; volleyball net (2), palm tree umberllas and beach chairs.
Parc National De La Mauricie
La Mauricie National Park, in association with Locationcanot.com, gives you the opportunity to rent a boat. Discover the park on the path of the paddle. Some thirty lakes are directly accessible from the Parkway or through well-maintained portages.
The 2.4-km portage between Wapizagonke Lake and Anticagamac Lake is well worth the effort. From the very first moment you see it, you will be awed by the grandeur of the cliff overhanging the great bay. Proceeding northward, you will soon find yourself paddling through fabulous water gardens. Glide through the meandering waterway softly, and keep your eyes open: this lake is renowned for the abundance and diversity of its wildlife. An unforgettable experience!
This one-day trip involves an 8-km stretch by canoe on Wapizagonke Lake, followed by a 6-km hike. Luckily, though, you don't have to portage. Your efforts will be rewarded by some of the most majestic sceneries on the Wapizagonke and Anticagamac lakes. And what bliss, after all your exertion, to cool off under some of the finest waterfalls in the park! Be careful, and take your time.
As you paddle along the shore of Wapizagonke Lake, you will be astounded at the sheer diversity of the waterscapes: beaches alternating with cliffs, marshy inlets succeeding crystal-clear streams flowing into the lake.
