Located on beautiful Kawawaymog Lake at Algonquin Park Access #1, The Nipissing Cottage is a great base to explore nearby islands by canoe or paddle down and to fish the Amable du Fond River that feeds into the Park at the other side of the lake. Hike the lookout trail or just relax with a good book on the dock or in front of the fireplace.
With over 650 feet of shoreline, a main cottage and 2 guest cottages, docks, decks and use of a floating sauna, the Nipissing Cottage is located on Kawawaymog Lake (sometimes known as Round Lake) at Algonquin Park’s northwest corner. Ideal for a group of 12-15 people, the Cottage is private and ideal for a large group or multiple families who like to vacation together in a beautiful outdoor environment.
Canoe into the sunrise to look for moose on the Amable du Fond river or swim to the floating sauna and heat up before plunging into the clean, fresh water. Fish for bass or trout or relax on the dock, in front of the fireplace or by the campfire. The Nipissing Cottage is solar-powered and completely off-grid; Put away the smart phones as they don’t work and recharge!
The Nipissing Cottage comes with two canoes, 6 paddles and PFD's. Additional canoes, kayaks, SUP's, fishing rods and equipment can be rented from Voyageur Quest Outfitting located at the check-in at the top of the lake.

The cost is $2350 + HST for three nights accommodation.
The cost includes: accommodation for up to 12 people, two canoes, two docks, floating sauna.
The cost does not include: HST, personal clothing, meals, guided excursions.
