We stayed here because of its proximity to the Haliburton Curling Club. When we first walked in we thought this place was perfect, with its larger masonry heater in the middle of of living room. My wife and I had a bedroom at the front of the cottage. This bedroom was perfect for us, with the exception that the comforter was not the cleanest. The other couple we were there with took the Master bedroom. They instantly noticed that there was about a slope in the floor. They also mentioned that the comforter was not the cleanest.
If you stay here follow the instructions for the masonry heater - it looks like a fireplace but works in a different way.
Over all we enjoyed this place and would consider staying here next winter.
