Urban yet private, beautiful 3-floors town home located right by Greenlake. Bedroom has private access to a well kept yard. You will have the only room on the first floor with an en suite bathroom, a very private space right by the entrance. Shared kitchen with dining and living area. This room is perfect for someone looking for a place to sleep. It comes with a single bed and the bathroom is stocked. There is a lot of space outside of the room, the second floor has a shared area for everyone in the house and we offer additional storage space.
I had a great, quiet stay I needed for work. This is in a perfect location for getting around Seattle.
A great place to stay for the solitary traveler wanting to explore the city and planning some day trips, but also wanting a little peace & quiet. Only takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown from the bus, and much cheaper than paying for parking.
Just off a busy street, this room is surprisingly VERY quiet. On the back side of a townhouse with another townhouse blocking the street, I heard little street noise during my 2 night stay. It's a simple ground level room with a single bed, desk+chair, closet and private bath. All that I needed while in Seattle for some long-day business meetings. Bed was comfortable, so slept well. Enough closet space. Nice sliding door to backyard with chairs for seating in good weather is a real extra; wish my schedule allowed me time to enjoy it. Only a couple of chain fast food restaurants in walking distance; eat somewhere else before coming "home" to this room. [Space was made available in the owners' fridge, but one probably won't want to count on cooking in their living space.]
Only had a little interaction with the owners, but very pleasant; the small dog is friendly, as is the curious older cat. The entrance really is in the rear at the right of the complex... one needs to walk between the two front townhouses and then around to the right side of the rear unit. [If I hadn't seen a google map earth view before traveling, I would have been confused.] Parking is a block away, which is fine, though in Seattle, bring an umbrella or raincoat, just in case.
Once the owners tighten up the desk chair screws, all will be in great working order. I'd certainly return if my business has me back in Seattle for similar travel. Definitely a good deal for the price in such a metropolitan area. (About 10-20 minutes to downtown depending on traffic flow.)
