This is simply the most awesome area both in summer and winter. What Tahoe was!
Karibu Kabin offers an incredible place to get away and recharge - whether that means outdoor activities or simply relaxing!
We stayed at this cabin not once, but twice in a matter of weeks. Both times we had a blast...once with no snow, once with tons of snow. Kids loved sledding the 2nd time in the yard. The beds were comfy, glove dry rack for by the fire was perfect, and the table easily accommodated our group of 6. The loft was perfect for the kids and we look forward to another trip in the future. Adam was easy to reach and great to work with.
This was my first experience with a vacation rental of any sort and this home and Adam, the owner, exceeded our expectations. First off, Adam was easily accessible, gave great directions on the opening, closing, and care of the home, and supplied us with an experience to remember. The cabin is easily comfortable enough for two families and is perched in a great location. Very clean, well supplied, and a pleasure to stay at.
We'll be contacting Adam to stay again in the summer!!
This cabin is very comfortable, very clean, well kept, and well stocked with all the things we needed to spend a wonderful holiday and cook a great Christmas dinner.
Adam was very helpful at answering all of our questions in advance of the booking. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Very comfortable for a family group with 3 adults and 3 kids. The kids loved the upstairs loft, and adults were comfortable in the two bedrooms on main level. Since the loft is open to the main living area below, we found it was best for adults not to stay up any later than kids upstairs -- after a busy day of hiking in the Big Trees park, it wasn't hard to go to sleep early. We visited in mid-November and had a treat of a few inches of snow on our final morning!
