Overview

About the property

Bay Breeze Cottage sits on the shores of Adolphus Reach on the Bay of Quinte with a wonderful view of Prince Edward County. What a great place to get away and it’s a great spot for families and friends to gather! The outstanding feature is the large south-facing deck so perfect for outside entertaining and al-fresco dining. The 20’ dock is ideal for boats of any size and it’s also a great place to try your luck at fishing.

The Bay of Quinte is a popular spot for walleye and bass fishing and Bay Breeze Cottage offers private waterfront plus there are boat launches close by at Adolphustown Park and the Glenora Ferry. This is a great location for boating and fishing, and the local roads are ideal for cycling, too.

Other special features of this 3 bedroom cottage include hardwood flooring throughout, a wood pellet fireplace in the cozy living room, an open concept kitchen with island & breakfast bar, wireless Internet, and a beach pass for the Sandbanks.

Bay Breeze Cottage is located on the Loyalist Parkway which is a main thoroughfare between the Glenora Ferry crossing and Kingston - a few minutes east of Glenora Ferry and about 40 minutes west of Kingston. It's close to the UEL Heritage Centre, Historic Hay Bay Church, and the natural wonder of Lake-on-the-Mountain. Be sure to check out the other popular attractions of the Adolphustown area and Prince Edward County including the wineries and vineyards, the famous Sandbanks beaches, boutiques & artisan/antique shops, fine restaurants & pubs, golf courses, and local farm markets. Just east of the cottage is 33 Vines as well as Bergeron's Estate Winery which produces wine, cider, and excellent pizzas.

For more information about local attractions and activities, check out visitthecounty.ca.80' rocky beach and waterfront on Adolphus Reach, Bay of Quinte - great for fishing and boating but not ideal for swimming due to the weeds, especially after July

20' dock - available May 1 to mid-Oct. Fishermen - please note that water levels are typically lower in the fall (but not the fall of 2017!)

Wonderfull waterfront place

  • 1 of 5

The cottage offers a nice view, very quiet, well located . The kitchen is full equiped and the master bedroom is pretty. We were four guests but better just for a couple even if you could sleep till 8 guests ! The nightmare was no water to cook, to drink, it is stinking water and just one bathroom to share, no separate toilets , Internet was very slow and we could not use coffe machine which was durty, cleaning was not perfect ! When we left we made the place cleaner as when we checked-in. No music, no tv, we went out each day , to stay at the place was not interesting. We have a suggestion that the owner should live at his place to see what is all to repair or missing or to replace...

Beautiful cottage with amazing lake view!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Bay Breeze Cottage for the Victoria Day weekend with 4 friends and had a great time enjoying the enormous deck, spacious living areas and local amenities. The master bedroom's lookout over the lake and large patio doors to the deck made it feel as if we were sleeping outside. We also spent some time at Lake on the Mountain, including The Inn, the brewery and the County Cidery in Waupous. Overall, a wonderful weekend with great friends!

Bay Breeze Cottage - a post-Thanksgiving getaway to remember!

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bay Breeze - each day exploring the various wineries/cider breweries, local eateries and shops, and the fantastic views of the County. We returned each evening to enjoy this cozy and comfortable cottage! This Thanksgiving was most memorable for our family!
