Lovely home, great location

We enjoyed our "girls weekend" at Nick's house in Portland. Loved that there was coffee available, and orange juice, and clean, comfortable beds. The location is within a 20 minute walk from restaurants and stores. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Roomy, well-located, well-equipped condo in a quiet Portland neighborhood near downtown, waterfront

We spent the holiday week in this roomy, well-located condo on Munjoy Hill, which is perfect for enjoying access to downtown as well as the waterfront. We like to cook and entertained family and friends--the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishware and glasses, etc.(which is rarely the case with short-term rentals) and a large fridge, full-size stove, and microwave. Beds are comfortable and bedding high-quality and plenty of blankets for cold winter nights. Lots of windows bring in natural light. If you are not familiar with Portland, there are many great restaurants as well as good food sources--farmer's markets, food coop, local Rosemont Market, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and two quality supermarket chains, Hannaford's and Shaw's. Lots of local craft breweries, spirt makers, and coffee roasters. For easy access, the condo is just off Congress Street, the city's main avenue, with easy access to the 295 Interstate. If you prefer public transport there are buses, and if on foot, lots of walking and running trails. I recommend this condo highly.

This is the perfect place to stay on the Eastern Promenade. You can walk to downtown, restaurants, pubs everything is just right outside your door. A block away from the water!

Ideal place to stay to enjoy Portland

Great location, walkable to ferry terminal, close to coffee shop and Eastern Promenade. Apartment is clean, comfortable beds, kitchen necessities available; and spacious. All the extras to make us comfortable. Nick was welcoming, apartment was set up well with easy security. Our group of 5 women really enjoyed our Portland weekend!

Apartment is 20 steps to Congress St. where you will have stunning views of Casco Bay. The opposite end of the street offers an equally impressive view of the water. There is a walking path close by that in one direction goes to Portland's Old Port or venture in the other direction to connect to the 3.75 mile Back Bay area walking path.

Portland is an ideal 'home base' to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage or to do holiday shopping in downtown Portland, the Old Port or the nearby outlets in Freeport, just a 20 minute drive.

Drive across the bridge to Cape Elizabeth to see lighthouses and breathtaking views of the coast.

There are several beaches and state parks the are approximately a 20 to 30 minute drive.
