About the property

Luxury 2/2 W Split Bedrooms, En Suite Baths, 3 Blocks From Lift & Historic Breck

Welcome to QuickSilver Hideaway in Breckenridge, Colorado!

Located just 3 blocks from the QuickSilver ski lift at the base of Peak 9, the Ice Arena and Historic Breckenridge, this deluxe, perfectly laid-out condo offers incredible privacy and convenience.

QuickSilver Hideaway is located just a couple blocks from the Marriott Mountain Lodge and Hyatt Main Street Station. We offer comfortable accommodations at a fraction of their cost. You will appreciate the convenience of your proximity to town and the ski lift without paying the price. The free shuttle bus that can take you to other ski lifts and other parts of town stops just outside our back door.

The condo is laid out so two couples can enjoy one another and still have their privacy at night. The bedrooms are split. They are located on either side of the living area so guests in each bedroom have their own private retreat. The bathrooms are en suite so no one has to walk down the hall to use the facilities. The newly decorated master bedroom has a king bed, a walk-in closet, and a newly renovated private bathroom. The second bedroom has two queen beds with an en suite bathroom and a new, large walk in shower.

This residence has a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, an ice maker in the refrigerator, a top-notch dishwasher, a microwave and a convection oven. You can seat up to 8 people in the dining room comfortably. The kitchen, living room and dining room is an open floor plan. You can watch the 60” smart TV mounted above the cozy gas fireplace in the living room from the kitchen and the dining room.

You don’t have to worry about lost clothing, getting more quarters and treks through the snow to a communal laundry – we have our own laundry room just off the kitchen.

This ground floor, corner unit feels more like a home than a condo to us. It is a small complex with an intimate feel on the corner of Broken Lance and Columbine. We have a large hot tub that you can enjoy after skiing. It is just behind our building. A first floor location means you don’t have to climb a bunch of steps every time you go in and out. Since you will be in an altitude of 9,600 feet, that is a very good thing!

We did our best to make it as nice as possible. We installed a ski and snowboard storage rack on one of the decks so you don’t have clutter inside the condo.

Unlike many Breckenridge condos, this one has numerous windows and lots of light. And excellent views from every window! We installed top down, bottom up cellular blinds so you can have your privacy and still enjoy the view of the mountains and ski slopes from every window! Both bedrooms all have TVs and VCR's for your viewing pleasure.

We are conveniently located 3 blocks from Main Street Station, boutiques, shops, and nightclubs in the heart of Breckenridge. A variety of excellent restaurants - serving everything from Sushi to Italian - are within easy walking distance.

In winter, you can enjoy the gold rush atmosphere of historic Breckenridge with one of the top-rated North American ski complexes down the street.

In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning, kayaking, horse-back riding, jeep tours of gold rush ghost towns, and above all sunshine, blue skies, and cool nights. Heavenly!

The Breckenridge Recreation Center offers a fitness center, two swimming pools, a rock climbing wall, and various other activities and classes for the entire family.

We did our very best to provide you with everything needed to have a wonderful vacation that includes convenient, comfortable accommodations in the perfect location at a reasonable price. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!

Whether it is a romantic get-away or a family get-together, we hope that you will fall in love with this charming town and QuickSilver Hideaway.

It is our hope that your visit to Breckenridge, Colorado will be one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of your life! Feel free to call Paul for further information and reservations.

About Charlotte and Paul Beran

Paul and I live in Dallas, Texas because of family, friends and work. We love the beach and in the mountains. I grew up in Denver and have wonderful memories of the mountains in winter and summer. Paul's family visited many times in his youth and he also loves the Rockies.

We love to decorate and to entertain. We believe a home should be warm, inviting and well equipped. We did our best to outfit QuickSilver Hideaway with everything needed for the best possible experience. My mother, Elizabeth Castleberry, painted all of the art hanging in the condo. We hope you enjoy them!

We are not new to the vacation rental business, just new to Breckenridge. We also have a vacation home in Tybee Island, Georgia. Heron Hideaway, found on, is a 5 star property that offers incredible views a short walk to the beach and town. It is located just 20 minutes from historic Savannah, Georgia.

Why Charlotte and Paul Beran chose Warrior's Mark

We bought at Base 9 because it is so close to the QuickSilver chair lift and historic Breckenridge. Being able to walk anywhere in town is so much fun! We wanted a condo on the ground floor with a laundry room, a kitchen open to the living room, a nice size dining room and split bedrooms with en suite baths. Most of the other condos near the lift and town do not have all of these benefits. This one did. It is perfect!

What makes this condo unique

The ski lift and historic Breckenridge is just down the street. There are a plethora of shops within walking distance to explore. With 94 restaurants to choose from, you won’t get bored. You can walk to the grocery on Ridge Street if you need a last minute item.

If you have kids, there is a playground about 3 blocks from the condo next to the train museum on Boreas Pass Road (across from Hwy 9).

You don't really need a car once you get here. You can walk anywhere in town from our location and we love that! If you don’t feel like walking, the shuttle bus stops outside our back door.

If you like to ice skate, the Ice Arena is also 3 blocks from the condo. It is just on the other side of 9 on Boreas Pass Road. Stephen C West Ice Arena 189 Boreas Pass Rd, Breckenridge, CO 80424 (970) 547-9974 High Line Railroad Park is right there as well: THE TRAIN, ROTARY SNOWPLOW AND BOXCAR ARE OUTDOORS AND ON DISPLAY YEAR-ROUND. Engine No. 9 was one of a pioneering set of locomotives that used narrow-gauge rail to navigate the high and dangerous mountain terrain of Colorado. A true icon of railroad heritage, Engine No. 9, represents the life-blood that enabled Colorado mining communities to survive and thrive in the late 1800s and early 1900s. At that time, massive rotary snowplow machines with giant snow-blowing blades were used to clear snow from the railroad tracks. Today you can see Engine No. 9 on the original High Line track that came into Breckenridge from Boreas Pass and a restored rotary, one of only five known narrow-gauge rotaries still in existence.

Convenient, comfortable and complete

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay here. Beds and pillows were great, the kitchen had the little things you hoped it would have, and it's really convenient to the town and bus route. The weather was really cold while we were there but the condo was at a good temp. Following the suggested baseboard settings worked well. Addition of a humidifier would be nice. Great base to ski Breck and Keystone from. Would stay here again.

Overall nice place to stay

  • 3 of 5

We were beyond excited to come to Breck for our very first time to see snow and spend the new year. Our party included 5 adults and when we got to the property it was late at after a long day of travel. After struggling with the lock box which was frozen we finally got inside not only was it very dark but it was freezing. There was no heat on and we couldn’t figure out how to warm the house down. Of course we had to use the toilet after a long day of travel from South Florida and after flushing the toilet it started leaking. Not being familiar with the cold we began to call the property manager and owner. No answer. The property manager told us that he no longer worked for the owner. Needless to say we had a rough first night there. After that we did hear back from the owner however we struggled with keeping the temperature inside comfortable it was either freezing or too hot. The place is very cute not too comfortable when you have 5 adults staying together. There’s limited closet space and it was a little tight. The location is nice however at the far south side of Main Street. It’s not a hard walk unless you’re not familiar with the cold or the elevation as we are not. Lastly, we felt was a little dark in the house as there wasn’t very good lighting in the second bedroom. We made the best of the vacation and had a wonderful time in Breckenridge and we would definitely go visit again we might look for a different place to stay next time.
