Villa Oleandro is an old traditional property. With its 3 trulli and newly renovated infinity-style swimming pool & jacuzzi, it is in the heart of the Pugliese countryside surrounded by its own olive, fig, almond and other fruit trees in nearly 4 acres of land. The white city of Ostuni is nearby with its many shops and restaurants and the nearest beach has tempting waterfront seafood restaurants and several par 72 golf courses in the area for the keen golfer. Villa Oleandro has one of its two double bedrooms in an old Trullo with en-suite bathroom in a new purpose built Trullo adjacent. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons. We advertise it as sleeping 8, but by prior arrangement and at a small extra cost this can be increased to 10. It is let solely to one party at a time. It is surrounded by a charming veranda with barbeque area. An ideal spot to relax around the pool for an enjoyable holiday.

Villa Orleandro ist absolutely recommendable residence for your Puglia-trip:
Due to location, condition and the team on-site!
We had wonderful two weeks there– relaxing, culinary and cultural.
Pre-journey contact with the landlady was very friendly and informative regarding the surrounding area of the villa and villa itself. We could ask anything anytime. The one-site Italian lady Filo, who introduces the house to us, is absolutely lovely, her English is fluent plus she totally gave us a warm welcoming feeling. She really took care about us, the house and had good tips regarding markets and supermarkets. We could always contact her via text or email. Answer came almost immediately.
The list of features and facilities is correct. There is everything you’ll need and more.
The cleaning lady comes once a week and after she finished, its so clean, one could eat from the floor, no matter how you left it (we had two kids and a dog with us).
Poolguy comes twice a week and makes it ready-to-jump-in too, but you have to care for swimming oliveleaves in the time in between, because huge garden area (several 100ft each dimension) is filled with olive trees, fruit trees, herbs we were invited to use.
Villa is a perfect starting point for citytrips such as beautiful Ostuni, Lecce, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, San Vito and Carovigno of course. Ways are short.
Good food of high and fresh quality is everywhere and really cheap compared to other Italian providences like Tuscany.
In the house is a collection of business cards from restaurants in the neighbourhood. Together with tripadvisor we all gained some happy pounds. XD
Our time at the Villa in Puglia couldn’t be any better. Thanks to every one involved.
We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Villa Oleandro. The house is beautiful, with more than enough room for our party of 5 adults and 3 small children. The property is set far off the main road, with beautiful gardens and fruit trees. We loved staying
We had a wonderful week's holiday at Villa Oleandro this summer. It's a very peaceful spot, with a great terrace for spending long lunches and evenings relaxing with friends and family. It was useful having easy access to a choice of supermarkets and local shops in Carovigno nearby, and there are some top local restaurants in Ostuni. It is also less than half an hour from Brindisi airport. The pool area is great, and there is plenty of space, even for a big group. There are some lovely features inside and it has been decorated and maintained superbly. We will definitely be going back - highly recommended for a fantastic, relaxing break!
Villa Oleandro is a wonderful property set in several hectares of its own grounds in a very quiet part of rural Puglia which still benefits from nearby towns with all the requirements we demand for modern life. There nearest international airport is only 40 minutes drive.
Those who love Italy, but do not know Puglia, are definitely missing out. This is an area full of character, with great local food, charming people, lots of sunshine and way cheaper than the typically British haunts of Toscana and Umbria.
Probably Puglia's most distinctive characteristic is the "Trullo", a drystone built circular, coned dwelling designed in former times to be quickly dismantled before a tax collector's survey and just as quickly re-assembled when he had passed! Large numbers of these quaint little houses have now been added to and converted into modern homes, some of them for holiday lets. Our family, including my sister who lives in ultra smart Toscana, fell in love with these when we rented one two years ago. We actually very nearly bought a ruin to "do up" ourselves, but after Villa Oleandro are very glad that we didn't.
Villa Oleandro combines Trullo romanticism with modern practicality. The owners (who have converted the property) have an innate understanding of style and functional design. The kitchen and the bathrooms work (the one inside a Trullo was bagged by everybody first!), the bedrooms are comfortable, and the terrace faces two ways so you always have a choice of sun and shade. The attractive pool is just beyond the terrace so parents can keep an eye on young children, and those who like my elderly mother who no longer swims don't feel left out.
For us it worked for every generation and both collectively as a family and individually we would like to stay there again sometime soon. We would recommend Villa Oleandro most highly.
This was my second time in 2 years at Villa Oleandro in Puglia. This year, the new master bedroom and bathroom was completed and looked beautiful. The en-suite bathroom has a waterfall shower over a large bath, and the bedroom has it's own balcony overlooking the stunning view of the pool and surrounding areas.
The villa was incredibly clean when we arrived, and very well equipped for all our needs. We even had a go with the pizza oven!
We found ourselves staying in the villa for much of the holiday as it was so lovely, but did venture out one evening for dinner at the closest local restaurant, about 5mins drive away (or 15/20 on bikes). The restaurant served great local produce and dishes - a real taste of Puglia! I didn't want to leave!
My family and I spent a wonderful week at Villa Oleandro in July. It was one of the best equipped rental properties we have ever stayed in, spotlessly clean on arrival with a beautiful pool and garden full of flowers. We enjoyed visiting the local markets to buy food and it was a joy to have a kitchen with everything we needed to prepared it, as well as 2 barbecue areas. I understand that the property has recently undergone renovations and the additional master bedroom with en-suite bathroom was wonderful.
The area is a gastronomic delight with family run restaurants serving fresh local produce, simply, but beautifully cooked, including some lovely fish restaurants overlooking the sea. The owners provided some very helpful recommendations for these.
We enjoyed several excursions into the surrounding area, which we found fascinating and very different from other parts of Italy that we had previously visited.
There are many local places of interest, beaches, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, markets, etc. which are shown in a portfolio of notes and brochures at the villa. There are also 4 new bicycles at the villa for discovering the little lanes and back roads in the surrounding countryside. There is a riding stables nearby.
