Great place to explore Seattle downtown. Close to Space Needle & other attractions. Secure, safe & easy. Great facilities and neat and clean. Our family enjoyed our stay.
This is a great property. It looked just like the photos. Building and condo was very clean and well maintained. Easy access in and out of downtown. Location was great for walking to many restaurants and attractions. Pretty quite as it looks out over a lovely courtyard. Felt safe walking around at night. Good customer service, I would highly recommend !!'
We had a wonderful time. Rental was clean & well stocked. Mass transit easy to use. We walked to the Spaceneedle & took monorail to Downtown. And Light Rail to and from the Airport. Make sure you find the instructions for the TV.
Since some in our party are landlords we noticed a few things that need maintenance.
Toilet paper holder needs fixed.
Shower faucet needs lubricated or replaced before someone pulls it out of the wall.
Masterbedroom need a fan.
Carpet needs stretched and cleaned.
Dishwasher does not clean well.
Washing machine makes lots of noise.
Poet's Paradise Oasis was perfect for our girls weekend in Seattle. I booked this for a surprise party we threw one of our best friends. When we walked in she started to cry. It was exactly what we needed and was decorated beautifully. A gentlemen met us right out front and helped us with parking, then showed us all the amenities in the building and to our condo. The place was quiet and in a fabulous location.
Condo: This condo is exactly as it looks online. Sleek modern decorating and has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen, large bathroom, huge closets, full-size washer/dryer, there wasn't anything we felt was missing. Traveling with a 12 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter, "sharing the queen bed" is no longer an option, so this rental with the separate bedroom with twin beds sets Poet's Paradise apart from the rest. Would stay again for sure.
Location: In the middle of everything! While we did have a rental car we were able to walk to 75% of the locations we wanted to visit. Easy walk to the Seattle Center to the North and the Public Market and the piers to the South. When you do need the car the private garage is just an elevator ride downstairs and is secure and safe.
Eats: Macrina is a must for breakfast, eat there or takeout. Belltown Pizza was pretty darn good, and we're from Chicago and picky about our pizza. The new Starbucks tasting room is a must if you are a coffee fanatic, quite the spectacle. Take a water taxi over to Alki Beach and have dinner at Salty's, food is good but view of the city skyline is better. The one unfortunate thing we ran into was that a lot of the local Belltown eateries are really bar/pubs and that limited our dinner options traveling with kids.
To do: Did all the tourist things and enjoyed them all. Bought the City Pass which was actually worth it in Seattle. In other cities we've bought it and still had to sit in lengthy lines to purchase additional tickets for extra exhibits, we didn't have that problem here! Take a Washington State Ferry boat! What an amazing system. Boats are huge, clean, plenty of seating, concession stand, bathrooms and a smooth ride. Drove up to Anacartes and took a ferry over to San Juan's Friday Harbor for a whale watching cruise (San Juan Excursions), didn't see orcas but had a gorgeous relaxing day on the water. Do your shopping at the public market, but get there early and make sure you stick around the fish guys and see them throwing the fish. Seattle Center has lots of eats in bldg called the Armory- not on the maps.
Customer Service. We downloaded the host's app which stepped us through the process. Our flight had been delayed 6 hours and our host had to meet us at the condo at 11:00 pm. We felt awful it was so late but she was very friendly and professional and took the time to show us around.
An incredible location....beautiful building.....unit stocked with all you would ever need. Truly an A! The only thing I would say is that the pool was too cold for us wimpy adults to stay in. However, the kids did ok. :)
Our beautiful property is centrally located in downtown Seattle. From it, you are an easy walk from the waterfront, Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom and the retail core, and Seattle Center. 100's of restaurants are in this neighborhood, along with unique shops and nightlife.
