Since HomeAway is a Cottage rental page, not an overnight camping page, I thought I would give you my experience with Duins Pineridge. Their cottages are cozy, clean and steps from the water. The people that manage the park (the entire Duin family) are helpful and super friendly. They go out of their way to assist with anything you need and go over and above - even bringing freezies out to the kids or sneaking them a chocolate bar here and there! The kids in their seasonal part of the park love them and the parents as well - everyone waves and yells a greeting to them when they pass by on their way to make sure that all is well, This is a well-run place that we would recommend to anyone. You most definitely won't be sorry you spent your vacation time there. I understand that each person has their own opinion, but with so many people having a great time speaks for itself. Try it, you won't be disappointed........
This is one of the nicest and cleanest campgrounds we have had the pleasure to stay at. The owners are great people - friendly and helpful, always greet you with a smile on their face. In fact, the son never has anything but a smile!! We came with several family members and practically took over the place without any issues whatsoever. Thank you Duins for making our summer vacation so great!!!
I have heard many mixed reviews about this place. My visit was terrible from the start . The owner greeted me with a question. What do you want ??? I understand that some people shouldn't talk to customers. This man should deal with lawn care and garbage duty not with people!!! The way these people treat their customers I believe they think they are the only park in town! I would recommend Doe lake just down the street which has many camp trailer and cabin rentals I would recommend sleeping in the Tim Hortons parking lot in Burks Falls before I would ever put my trailer in at the Duins park. I wouldn't even dump my septic tank from my RV there... I hope this helps you don't waste a weekend there...
