Our names are Scott & Betsy Meyer. We have owned Silver Pines since 2002. We bought it for a place to get away, and wanted to offer it to other people to enjoy it as much as we do.
Scott Meyer purchased this cabin in 2002
We love the area. It is so peaceful, and the country side is breathtaking.
No major traffic congestion, just the occasional clip clop of an Amish buggy. All the amenities of home, but not the worries.
Beautiful location. Nice clean home.Definitely would recommend it to my friends!Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed our stay.
Great family weekend with lots of memories. Silver Pines Estate was perfect for our family with everything we needed. We like outdoor activities and the decks with the beautiful views made it even more enjoyable.

This was our 2nd girl's Amish weekend in this very cozy cabin in the heart of Amish Country. Highly recommend to get away from it all but still within driving distance to all the beauty, food, shopping and hand crafts Amish country has to offer. This home is off the beaten path and our OnStar has a hard time finding it...kept confusing SR 224 with SR 227...just an FYI. We would have liked better instructions on how to operate the TV (just wanted to see the weather) and DVD player (for some chick flicks), we never did figure it out, and a couple new frying pans/griddle would be nice as we did cook in breakfast & dinner but all-in-all we were very happy and have already booked it for next year!
The house was very well equipped with dishes, silver, mugs, pots and pans, etc. We fixed our breakfasts and ate out on the deck which was very relaxing. We ate our main meal out in one of the many wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed watching the sheep - or are they goats, we couldn't quite decide! Definitely a lovely place. Thanks for sharing it.
