I was in Portland for 10 days of work, and the house was great. Located near Mississippi St with food, bars and live music all a 10 minute walk away. The house is the bottom story of a duplex and when people are upstairs you can slightly hear footsteps, but didn't bother me at all. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, absolutely loved this place.
The apartment located in great area close to all my family and was so easy to find and the property manger was great. Having air conditioning was great help to sleep, when the nights were hot. So cute. Loved the place. Would rent again. The property was well maintained. The listing was accurate.
We are so thankful to have found this place. It was a great fit for my husband and I and 9-month old son. It's so close to Portland that we could go back and forth easily for our son's nap times, and the Mississippi District was a fun place to walk to and explore. We had a quick response from the renter when first inquiring and willingness to accommodate us with just a few days notice. Clean, great layout and lots of character. Great find!
The house was convenient to the rail station without being right on it. Everything was comfortable. The grocery store two stops down the TriMet rail let us stock up on breakfast and late night snacks for a leisurely start and end to the day. We could be downtown in 20 minutes and didn't need a car until we ventured out of Portland. The TV works fine but has internet only so bring your Netflix account info. The potential drawback was if the second floor was occupied. The little girl running upstairs echoed down below on two mornings.
