Sarah Bedford purchased this Barn in 2006
Why Sarah Bedford chose Teller County
Steve and Gwen Smith, Founders and Directors of Potter's Inn selected this property in 2006 because it was the most beautiful property they had ever seen. It is surrounded by three mountain ranges and in the back yard of Pikes Peak. It has a cozy, cocoon-like feel with a very peaceful setting of Colorado beauty.
What makes this Barn unique
We enjoy snow shoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer. It is so quiet here and we love to watch the wildlife around us, interacting with us.

My one word review is "Wow!"
The folks at Potters Inn really have a special place nestled in the quite community of Woodland Park, Colorado. Beautiful postcard vistas, whispering aspens and curious deer.
The cabin is excellent with large spacious rooms and a phenomenal great room with 30-40 ceilings and a cozy fireplace.
Two thumbs up. Go ahead and put this destination on your calendar. Sarah will take good care of you.
Great spot for a group meeting!
Potter's Inn was a great venue for an extended board meeting. There were nine of us with two spouses, and we used the Lodge and one of the cabins for lodging. Everything was first class. We had dinner in Woodland Park one night, and used the Inn's kitchen to prepare all the other meals. The library was just the right size for a board meeting of seven. Staff let us bring a TV from the sitting room for projection in the board room, which worked well. I hadn't seen the Inn since its days as a barn. The remodeling is amazing!
The Inn at Potter's Inn
We loved our stay at The Inn at Potter's Inn / Aspen's Ridge! What a great place! Everything is nice, and the staff have an exceptional knack for decorating and furnishing the facility in just the right way, filling it with beauty that is refreshing. The spacious sitting area around the huge wood fireplace, and under the massive wood beams is beautiful! The staff are great, warm and attentive to details. I recommend it whole heartedly!!
The Potter's Inn exceeded my expectations. The staff was warn, friendly, and inviting. The property is specifically designed for soul and marriage care. This is a fabulous location to take groups to get connected with God, and each other. Seeing is believing!
Our stay at Potter's Inn was most enjoyable. The facilities are great and the setting is unbelievably beautiful. The folks at Potter's Inn went out of their way to make sure that our stay was pleasant. The location of Potter's Inn is within easy driving distance of a number of outstanding Colorado attractions including Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods.
We brought 21 people to Colorado for my son’s Air Force Academy graduation, and rented the whole property, lodge, inn, Eagles Nest, and Antlers cabins. All everyone could say was “how in the world did you find this place” and “this is one of the best vacations of my life”. The facilities were perfect, we had plenty of room, everyone had their space. The kitchen and dining room were equipped with everything we could imagine. The restaurant style coffee maker was priceless in the mornings. The staff was outstanding, we saw them when we checked in with a walk through and basically didn’t see them again until we checked out. The grounds are breathtaking, different people hit different parts of the trails etc. and the pictures on the website are exactly what you see at the different locations. Thanks for making this momentous occasion even more memorable!
Sledding, snow-shoeing, Hiking trail on site with benches and stunning views, Nearby Attractions: almost too many to list, some of which are the Cave of the Winds, Air Force Academy, Eleven Mile Reservoir, historic gold mining district of Cripple Creek and Victor, Manitou Springs, Pike National Forest and Mueller State Park for hiking, and escapes from the city, Within a two-hour drive, you can be at most ski resorts as well as river rafting spots, In addition, the Rocky Mountains are at your front door.
