My son is actually the owner, I look after the apartment for him. Senior Citizen, 70+. Maritime background with plenty of traveling since early 1960's Grew up in The Netherlands.

Why Steve chose Greenmarket Square
First visited Cape Town in 1964, and finally settled here in 1994. It's the sight of Table Mountain, and the history of South Africa that made me decide to settle here.

Lovely, centrally located apartment.
My wife and I were met at the property by Mr. Geneen Senior who could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had actually booked apartment 1505 for 8 nights but were actually lodged in 1604 because the present tenants of 1505 wanted to extend their stay. The apartment (1604) is modern, clean and airy with a brilliant view of table mountain. We had no problems whatsoever and would gladly stay there again. Worth the 5 stars we have given it. I would also like to add that dealing with Mr Geneen Junior when booking our stay was very easy.
Nice apartment in the center
We had a nice stay in the apartment ( 2 adults and 1 infant) and it is possible to have baby bed if needed. The apartment is well located (5mn by car to victoria shopping center and table mountain) with a good price. I put 4 instead 5 stars because of wifi we have to pay separely ( prepaid wifi). For sure we will return there.
Beautiful apartment very spacious .Central location bus stop just outside the apartment which takes you to Camps bay and the waterfront. Apartment block very secure with 24 hr security and Steve the manager will pick you up from the airport for a reasonable fee.Would recommend this property to friends and family had a lovely time here.

Excellent central Cape Town apartment
We found Cartwrights Corner to be a very nice, clean, well-maintained property very conveniently located in central Cape Town. It is nicely decorated and offers incredible views of Table Mtn. It is within walking distance of excellent restaurants and city attractions. In spite of being in a very busy location, we always felt safe.
It was very comfortable and spacious for my wife, two teenage boys, and me, with all the conveniences including safe indoor parking, kitchen amenities, updated bathroom suites, comfortable beds, etc.
We were met by a well-organized, pleasant property manager who provided very helpful advice on our arrival.
We would return to this location without hesitation.
Excellent location and accommodations
Our host and his daughter were extremely helpful and the apartment is exactly as described. The security is excellent and wonderful view of the cityscape from high above. A taxi stand only 500 yards makes for a convenient connection to the waterfront. Their recommended tour guide gave us a wonderful history and Cape of Good Hope experience. Thank you Steve and Family.

The taxi rank as mentioned is actually in Adderley Street, less then 50 yards from the front door.
500 yards is about a third of the distance to the V&A Waterfront. Could this be a typing error!.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in the property. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were changed after the first week along with the towels.
Steve was waiting for us at the airport and gave us some good pointers on the journey to the apartment.
The location was ideal. We could walk to the V&A waterfront and there were always taxis parked right outside the front entrance.
We would highly recommend the apartment to friends and family.
