This luxury, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (full en suite with bath and shower and second bathroom with large shower), corner unit is on the 16th floor with panoramic views of Table Mountain.
The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances for self-catering, the bedrooms have King size extra length beds and the lounge has ceiling-to-floor windows and Juliette balcony from which the views can be enjoyed and a flat screen TV with satellite and surround sound.
There is a bureau with broadband internet (Wifi) connection and dining facilities for 4 people.

My son is actually the owner, I look after the apartment for him. Senior Citizen, 70+. Maritime background with plenty of traveling since early 1960's Grew up in The Netherlands.

Why Steve chose Greenmarket Square
First visited Cape Town in 1964, and finally settled here in 1994. It's the sight of Table Mountain, and the history of South Africa that made me decide to settle here.

Great stay in Cape Town
This apartment was very comfortable, clean and convenient for center city. Having the parking garage was really helpful. We explored everywhere around the city and out into the countryside from this great location. Stellenbach, Cape of Good Hope, Robben Island.
We managed the water crisis with help from the owners. It did not disrupt our stay at all.
Terrific view of Table Top Mountain!
Nice to walk Company Gardens only a block away.

Great place to stay in Cape Town
My family of 4 had a great time staying at 1604 Cartwright! The location was very good for daytime explorations, especially its close proximity to Bree Street (we ate lunch somewhere on this street three times!). Plus, the parking garage was very helpful as we had a car to drive around the Cape and to the wine country.
Plenty of grocery options nearby for those self-catering types (like us). While we didn't walk around at night time, the area around the apartment seemed well lit. But we just drove or Uber'ed everywhere.
We would gladly stay here again in the future.

Beautiful city view, modern/clean/quiet flat
Karen and Steve are wonderful hosts - professional, accommodating, and communicative. Their flat has a nice layout, with a spacious living room area and kitchen with a bar that extends to the dining area, and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on opposite sides for privacy. We are a family of 4 from Washington DC, with two kids ages 8&5, and it was a perfect space for us. Didn't hear a peep from neighbors, and it's even quiet from bedroom to bedroom. Decorations and furniture are modern, clean, and simple, with plenty of room to put your belongings. The building's security is 24/7 and we had no problem coming or going; a key card is needed to access the floors via the elevator, so the flat was extremely secure. There is a pool and exercise room, but the pool was unfortuntely closed due to water restrictions. One of the major selling points of this flat is the view - with huge bay windows in the living room, you can see Table Mountain right in front of you, see the fog dripping over the top, it was just breathtaking. Amazing that we got to stare at such an incredible view every day for a whole week. The city center is a little dicey at night, but it's just a short walk to the Garden District which is a beautiful pedestrian-only area with an outdoor restaurant, gardens, fountains, statues, museum, and just a lovely place to take a stroll or spend the day. Plenty of small stores nearby for groceries and beverages. Every time we called an uber cab out front it arrived within a matter of seconds. Steve greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the flat. Karen meet us at our departure time of our choosing. We contacted them once mid-week to request additional WIFI credits and they responded within an hour. I can't recommend this apartment more - it was a pleasure to stay there and was instrumental in contributing to our amazing week stay in Cape Town.

Million Dollar View and Accommodations in the City
I can't say enough great things about this exquisite apartment in the Central Bowl of Cape Town. The location is extremely convenient and if you want a million dollar view, you've come to the right place. Imagine panorama views of Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill and Robben Island on a clear day. The apartment is incredibly well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. There are two bathrooms and a large great room with a dining table and comfortable couches and a flat screen. The building is very secure and there are several grocery stores within walking distance. Uber has a very convenient place to park for pick up and we had no trouble getting around. Steve keeps in close touch to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. I would also recommend getting a tour guide/driver to take you to the wine region and around Cape Hope. We hit the jackpot with our guide Gavin Clayton who went so out of his way to show us the beauty and history of Cape Town and the surrounding environs. You can reach him at #27 73 155 1225. He had room for all five of us and is a charming person and will make your stay unforgettable.
We must thank Suzanne and her family for being a hosts' dream, to the point, easy to communicate with and always on time. The apartment was left in a very clean and tidy condition. The perfect guests. Welcome back any time.
Amazing view and wonderful apartment
Beter then any hotel in Cape Town. Very clean and high quality, from the separate airco to the Beds, the TV, the fridge etc. Amazing view on Table Mountain. Owner Steve is very friendly and allways responding to any question. My wife and I felt very secured (24/7 security). All exitement in Cape Town on walking distance. If we return for a holiday we will book here again!
