Welcome to your home away from home at the beach! This condo is perfectly located within walking distance to the best restaurants and nightlife in San Juan. It comes completely furnished and has all the accessories you will need to enjoy your stay on beautiful Condado Beach. We share our beach with the Marriott, La Concha and Condado Vanderbilt hotels. The queen-sized bed will let you rest peacefully in either an air-conditioned environment or you may wish to sleep with the windows open while the ocean sings you to sleep and greets you first thing the next morning. The condo comes complete with bed and bath linens so all you have to do is bring your clothes and toiletries. (If you forget something, Walgreens and CVS are one block from the beach.) The kitchen is filled with everything you will need (pots, pans, cooking utensils, 2 burner electric stove, toaster oven, etc) if you decide to cook your own delicious meals while enjoying dining oceanfront in privacy.
The 17' sliding glass windows open up, allowing you to feel like you're on the beach while sitting on the sofa watching television, surfing the 'net (cable tv and free wifi are included in the price), reading a book or listening to your favorite music.
When you feel like going out to the beach you simply go down stairs and walk out to your front yard. The front yard is actually the beach! The condo is on the second floor and there is an elevator or stairs to take you up and down as you please. The building is extremely secure. A key is needed to enter the property and to enter the building. Your key will only allow you to reach the floor of your designated apartment from both the elevator or the stairs.
The condo is a ten minute drive (or taxi ride) from the airport. The condo does not come with a parking space but occasionally one can be arranged at an additional fee. You will also be a quick ten minutes away from Old San Juan and the cruise ship port. Public transportation is available one block away from the condo and the island also has Uber now! We've partnered with Jerry's Adventures to help you with the ease of scheduling excursions.
Condado Beach is one of the most well-kept beaches in San Juan and the Condado area is one of the most celebrated areas on the island. Condado offers fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment. If you like casinos you're in luck. There's one just a few short blocks away. The area is very walker friendly and safe for night-time excursions. Your options are limitless. You can walk to authentic local fare, five star dining or you can walk to Burger King, Starbucks and Subway are also within close range on Ashford Avenue, which also offers access to the highways to take you to other beautiful parts of the island for day trips.
If you spill the delicious mofongo (a must-try native dish) on your bathing suit there is a coin operated laundry room on the first floor of the property.
Whether you want to relax on the beach and soak up the sun, explore the island and come back to your comfortable apartment to rest in paradise or simply sit and listen to the ocean, you will be thrilled that you chose this condo. Experience the beach from your living room.

We stayed for our honeymoon and had a great time.
It's small, but had everything we needed. Full sized refrigerator, cooking supplies, etc.
And the view was spectacular. Beautiful giant window that opened, so we could sleep to the sound of the waves. Walking distance to many, many excellent restaurants and bars. And to a CVS, a Walgreens, and a local grocery/liquor store. I would recommend this to others.
We arrived in San Juan on July 17, 2016. Once we arrived I called the property manager Ms. Vilma Bordas from the airport and she provided us with directions to get to the Stella Maris. Ms. Bordas also told me that we would be met at the Condo by her assistant Annette with the keys. Once we arrive at the Condo we were met Annette and she took my girlfriend Ilene to the Condo unit as I had to go park our rental car at the Marriot Hotel parking lot. One of the features of the Stella Maris that we enjoyed besides the view and the beach was the secured entrance to the property, the building and the elevator. I had to call Ilene when I arrived at the property, she came down and let me in. When I got to our unit, I was amazed at the view of the ocean and beach. The beach was about 100 feet the property. We really enjoyed hearing the waves of ocean crashing against the rocks at night. The unit was a bit small but it was very clean and had all the utensils, modern appliance,s, nice TV, internet access, and a small stove for cooking food. The property is ideally located, the restaurants and stores were within walking distance. This was a very special trip for Ilene and myself because while I was in Puerto Rico, I purchased an engagement right and asked Ilene to be wife and fortunately for me she said "YES". We want to thank Andy, Ms. Vilma Bordas and Annette for welcoming us and providing excellent customer service. We highly recommend staying in either of Andy's two unit. We will be back. We took some many pictures and put then on Facebook so that we can share them with our family and friends. To bad we are not able to show a couple of pictures we took from the condo unit 2C of the beach and ocean here.
Juan and Ilene
My husband and I stayed at Andy's studio apartment in early April 2016. We had a wonderful time! The apartment in centrally located making it extremely easy to get around. Plenty to do and see nearby, but Old San Juan is a short cab ride away...a must see if you are in PR. The apartment provides you with all the necessities during your stay, along with plenty of extras! The bed is very comfortable and everything was very clean when we arrived. There is a nearby CVS and/or Walgreen's (whichever you prefer) just a block away, but we also found a small (all natural) grocery store a couple blocks away as well. We chose not to rent a car for our vacation, which turned out to be the right choice - it was definitely not needed (we took a 10 minute cab ride from the airport to the condo). There are plenty of great places to eat and have drinks within walking distance (some more $$$ than others) Oceano is delicious food and tasty drinks, but a bit more expensive. We also ate/had drinks at Kana bar a few times as well...super cheap apps (but really good) and delicious Mojitos! My husband and I shared a couple bottles of wine and apps at Bar Gitano (suggested by Andy)...also delicious and Thursday and Sunday nights they have a free Flamenco show!
Halfway through our vacation we decided to purchase flights to Isla Culebra (really affordable - $70 per person, but be prepared to hop on a puddle jumper - 6 person plane). We stayed on Isla Culebra for a couple days, I highly recommend it...it is much slower pace than San Juan and home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Flamenco beach is breathtaking! Along with incredible snorkeling...just off the beaches!
All in all - we had a fantastic location and would definitely come back and stay at Andy's apartment!
The benefits: The accomodations were humble but adequate and clean, with a comfortable bed and a new & well-equipped kitchen. The biggest selling point for this condo is definitely the location--we loved waking up to the ocean and going for walks along the beach right outside. There are plenty of great restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance, and Old San Juan is just a short cab ride away.
The drawbacks: Although the listing states that this unit has a parking space, when we checked in we were told we DID NOT get a parking space with this unit, which was disappointing since we'd already planned to rent a car to drive to other areas. We ended up paying ($22/night) to use the parking garage of the hotel across the street. I've tried contacting the owner a few times, before our trip with a question and then afterward to suggest he update the listing to fix the parking information, but never got a a response. Also, as much as we enjoyed the ocean view, there are no curtains, which means zero privacy from the people milling around on the beach in the evenings.
