|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Get away from it all at Bear's Last Resort. This cabin offers 30 mile views from the porch. Sit on the rocking chairs and see Mount LeConte and Smoky Mountian National park to the right, Pigeon Forge laid out below you to the left, and English Mountain in the distance to the left. If you are looking for a cabin with a top-of-the-world type view, look no further! The views from Bear's Last Resort are second to none.
The cabin features a private master bedroom, a queen size bed in the loft area, and a pull out sofa bed, so it could sleep up to 6 comfortably.
Walk into the door to a full kitchen to use during your stay. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. The cabin comes with full plates and kitchen utensils to use during your stay if you wish. Just past the kitchen is a closet that holds a stacked washer and dryer if you need it during your stay.
From there, step into the small dining area, where a full sized dining room table with 6 chairs awaits. Just past the dining area is the living room area. Bears and pine trees decorate the area. Sit back and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace on a cold night, or cuddle up and watch a movie on the television. The couch can be converted to a full sized sleeper. Complimentary cable, internet, and local phone service is available.
The main level also features the master bedroom with a king sized bed and a full sized bathroom.
Go and relax in the loft area upstairs. The loft has a queen sized bed for 2 extra guests. It also features a love seat, a pool table, and television.
Outside of the cabin has a wrap-around porch. From the side of the cabin are two rocking chairs and a couple's swing to sit back and look at the mountains from. Dollywood's fireworks can be seen every night in the summer. If you've never looked down upon fireworks from above them, you will here. If it does rain, you may find yourself in the clouds. If you are lucky enough, in the morning, if the valley has fog, you will sit outside in sun and look at a soft blanket of white covering the valley below you.
Around the back is a hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking. In the front by the parking area is a campground style grill if you want to make burgers or steaks!
The driveway to reach the cabin is steep. It will require that you drive up in low gear or 4x4, and may be slick if wet. However once you reach Bear's Last Resort, you won't regret it, and will never want to leave!
Hello! I'm Bear, and this is my Last Resort! My pet parents, Thomas and Adriene Crum, are REALTORS and live locally, and will be more than happy to help answer any questions about the area, including their favorite restaurants, attractions, and shows! They have been blessed to have the opportunity to make East Tennessee their home, and they love it here in the mountains (so do I!).
Thomas R Crum purchased this cabin in 2015
I personally helped to scout high and low for what we thought would be an amazing property that people would love to visit. We found it when we discovered Bear's Last Resort. Being on Bluff Mountain (the mountain with the towers on it towards Sevierville), this cabin offered the unique opportunity to have absolutely amazing views, while at the same time being so close to all of the attractions! This is truly one of the most unique properties you will find in the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area in these regards. I hope you will come visit us, and allow me to be your guide for a most memorable vacation experience!
Bear's Last Resort offers 30 plus mile views. Breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains from Mount LeConte to English Mountains with Pigeon Forge below. Watch the Pigeon Forge area light up at night, including the Goats On The Roof Roller Coaster! You can see the Dollywood fireworks in the summer when they set them off. If you are lucky enough to be there when the clouds roll in, find yourself in a cloud, or even more impressive when the clouds are below you!
Stayed for 4 days about 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend. Did some shopping, exploring around the national park, and the Hatfield McCoy dinner show. The cabin was great with the breathtaking sunrise views. Enjoyed the hot tub but didn't get a chance to play any pool. The driveway really was no problem and I have a 2 wheel drive f150 with street tires.
Cozy and clean cabin with a beautiful view. Would definitely stay there again
The owner was great to work with. We Loved our stay. The cabin was neat and clean. The View was incredible. The cabin was very cozy and private. Enjoyed the swing and rocking chairs on the porch area. Very relaxing while enjoying the gorgeous view.
We have stayed at several cabins. One thing we liked about this cabin it was very close to Pigeon Forge. Only a few small issues. Which have been stated by other reviews.Nothing new to add.Would recommend this cabin to a friend.

Bears last resort was the cutest cabin. The owners made checking in easy and had the cabin decorated cute for the fall. Enjoyed everything about the cabin from being able to swing on the porch while looking out at the view to playing a game of pool on the pool table. It was also nice to be able to relax in hot tub at night. Loved the location of the house. The house is just a short ride from Serville and Pigeon Forge city limits with many things to do. The only thing about this property I did not like was the drive way. I would definitely not return during snow or ice. Overall I loved our stay at bears last resort.
This cabin was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed playing pool in the loft everynight and soaking in the hottub. Would definitely stay here again!
I know that the owner made the comment, that he had some more work to be done. Overall the cabin was cozy. The only things that could be done is bathroom needs up dated. The kitchen also needs put on the list for updating. As for the master bedroom needs more lighting. I don't think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed that was in the master bedroom. We understand that Rome was not created overnight. It takes time. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Thomas Crum and his wife for opening their cabin up to us. It will always be at the top of our travels. Thanks again, will be back. It also would be nice to have alittle history about the cabin. Thank you.....
