Self catering ground floor apartment ideal for the beach or golfing

Stylish air conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with shared pool and jacuzzi is ideal for the beach and golfing. Sleeps four comfortably and an additional cot or sofa bed can be made available.

The double master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, while the second bedroom has two single beds with the use of a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully fitted to a very high standard. The lounge has ample seating with WIFI, satellite TV, DVD and CD. The dining area has a table with seating for 6. The front patio overlooking the pool is accessed from the lounge and double bedroom. The rear terrace has patio doors from the kitchen and twin bedroom. The pool is set in well maintained gardens and includes a heated jacuzzi pool. The beautiful blue flag beach is an easy 10 minute stroll away and has two restaurants. For golfers the Boavista course is only a few minutes drive with 4 other excellent course no more than 20 minutes away. Secure underground parking.

Lovely apartment

We have just returned from 9 nights at Villa Marr. It is a lovely south facing apartment with a sunny terrace and very well equipped with sun beds and a large parasol perfect for relaxing all day. Lovely to walk down to Porto do Mos beach and along the coastal path. The Campimar restaurant on the beach is excellent and was our favourite for lunch time and evening meals - you need to book as very popular and friendly helpful staff. The welcome pack was very much appreciated when we arrived and the apartment is very clean with everything you need - we really hope to return sometime. Thank you

Urlaub Mai 2015

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 1 Kleinkind in der Wohnung und waren sehr zufrieden.Wohnung groß und super gepflegt.Handtuchwechsel alle 2 Tage und 1 mal pro Woche waren auch Putzfrauen vor Ort.Die Wohnung liegt super. Nur ca. 800 Meter Fußweg zum Strand in Porto Mos und mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten in Lagos.

Zu unserem Termin war die Ferienanlage nur zu einem Drittel belegt und es war eine herrliche Ruhe vor Ort. Einzig das allabendliche gekläffe von einigen Hunden in etwas entfernter Nachbarschaft hat gestörrt,weil wir gerne bei offenem Fenster schlafen.(Eigentlich sind wir Hundefreunde) Betreuung von Frances und Bill klappte bestens.Fazit: Immer wieder.

Very enjoyable stay in Villa Mar

We spent a week in Villa Mar during August 2008 and the apartment was fabulous. Enjoyed a lazy week by the apartment and pool. The apartment was beautifully furnished and very spacious, the description was very accurate. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. There were two restaurants within walking distance, Antonio's was our favourite but we also drove into Lagos and lots of good places to eat. We would recommend visiting the Atlantic coast beaches which were amazing, huge waves and miles of sandy beaches.

Would recommend and would visit again.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Anlage

Wir waren von der wirklich sehr komfortablen Wohnung, die sich in einer sehr gepflegten und schön bepflanzten Anlage mit Pool befindet, begeistert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es fehlt an nichts! Die nette Begrüßung wurde bereits beschrieben - auch wir fanden eine Grundausstattung mit Lebensmitteln vor! Die Wohnung hat zwei große Schlafzimmer, ein großes Wohnzimmer, eine große und voll ausgestattete Küche, zwei gute Badezimmer und zwei große Terrassen. Von einer der Terrassen sieht man direkt auf den schönen Pool, der jeden Tag gepflegt wurde. Den besonders kindergeeigneten Strand Praia de Porto Mos (an dem sich auch zwei gute Restaurants befinden) erreicht man in zehn Minuten auch zu Fuß. Zahlreiche weitere tolle Strände in und um Lagos sind mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Nach unserer Rundreise durch Portugal haben wir hier sehr erholsame und relaxte Ferientage verbracht - wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie insbesondere Familien mit Kindern sehr empfehlen!

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr modern, super ausgestattet und hat auch ohne Auto eine tolle Lage!

Man kann mit dem Bus in die Stadt fahren, ansonsten sind die Taxis auch wirklich günstig. Über die Klippen kommt man mit tollem Blick direkt zum Strand.

Die Buchung und alles vor Ort hat wunderbar funktioniert und trotz mehrerer Familien hatten wir unserer Ruhe-

Alles in allem war es ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und die Ferienwohnung hat einen großen Teil dazu beigetragen!

Hello,

The POSITIVE points of the apartment and surroundings are:

- very spacious apartment

- high quality finishings and furniture

- recent mattresses

- sufficient hot water

- very quiet, apart from our children ;)

- very smooth organisation

- very nice garden and swimming pool, well maintained

- private garden

- nice neighbours

- one terrace with morning and evening sun

- one terrace protected from the wind

- Intermarché supermarket is 2 km away and easy to find

- very nice housing area

- no parking problems

- the starter kit with food and kitchen tools

A rented car is necessary, unless you take an airport shuttle and a taxi each time you go to the supermarket or to Lagos city centre. Lagos is very beautiful and boasts even a hospital and private dental care. The nearby beach of Porto de Mos is 500 m away, which is possible by feet. It has fine and clean sand and is easy to use at low tide for children of 5 years and younger. Much wind in summer. Other, very beautiful beaches are reached with a car.

The points to BE IMPROVED are:

- the anti-adhesive frying pan must be replaced

- a garlic press would be welcome

- the sharp knives are not very sharp any more

We enjoyed the stay at Porto de Mos very much. Shall others have the same fun as us.

The apartment is part of a deluxe complex of 17 apartments in the area of Porto de Mos. It is only a short stroll to the golden sands of the blue flag beach, with a choice of a couple of really good restaurant/bars. A few minutes in the car and your are in the centre of the picturesque and historical town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping and markets. The award winning Lagos Marina also boasts more beautiful sites, restaurants, bars and shops. For the children there are a variety of water and theme parks within a 30 minute drive. With great weather all year round the golf could not be better and there are 5 excellent courses in the area. Boavista being the closest only a five minutes drive away. A car is recommended to take full advantage of the area.
