Beautiful beachy home with all the perks!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week at your lovely home. The location was great; walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping and easy biking to the sea wall and town beach. The house was clean, comfortable and updated without sacrificing any of the original character. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, linens and great indoor/outdoor spaces. Naturally, our kids (8 and 10 y/o) LOVED the "clubhouse"/barn -- movie screen, ping pong, darts, yard games and bikes and beach toys and chairs in great condition. It was the perfect getaway and all the amenities made packing a synch:) Will definitely be back!

A fantastic getaway!

  • 4 of 5

We have rented all over Narragansett and this is by far, the best spot we've stayed! Lovingly restored and decorated -- thoughtful amenities. Great for entertaining. Our children loved the barn and hammock -- and the easy walk to Narragansett Town Beach. The back porch was also a favorite spot. We made some wonderful memories!

Fantastic Cottage Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This little cottage was just what we were looking for; relaxation, fun, and close to all the attractions in Narragansett. We were greeted with an extremely clean home and a welcome gift basket with the owners favorite wine (which was one of my favorites) included. The kids immediately went to the barn to check out all of the games. It had even more than we imagined. Not only is there a ping pong table and darts but a ton of other games as well. There is a frisbee game, wiffle ball and board games as well. They also provide 2 bikes to go exploring around town. The barn also holds all the beach supplies you could ever need which includes; comfy chairs, umbrella and toys for the kids.

Our first night we hosted a Birthday dinner for my brother in law and had 13 people over with all their kids. The kids had a blast and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and eat. Everyone agreed that it was an excellent location and super cute. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. They even had salt and pepper along with some other spices.

I would fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay by the pier. The game room is key for the kids. This is a winner.

You are Going to Love It

We heartily concur with the 2 previous reviews.

Though we are in-state Rhode Islanders living in Providence our stay in Narragansett seemed a world away.

The owners have generously outfitted the house. Then vacationers are free to, well, be on vacation.

The barn, with toys for all ages, is a bonus.

Our family group, ages 7 to 67, all agreed; this is a special spot.

We hope to repeat next season.

Perfect Beach Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Short version:

This is the very best equipped Home Away or VRBO home in which I've stayed (and that's about 18). Super clean, easy to get to, great Narragansett location, and excellent for groups (we had 8 of us).

Long version:

We'll most definitely come here again. It was easy for us to find, and even easier to get around the area once we settled in. The porches are really big, as are all of the rooms. We ate dinner outside on the front porch, seating 8 very comfortably at the table, and that was only about half of the porch. Same for the back - very comfortable for multiple people to lounge. One of us even staked out the cot in the back for what looked like superb nap.

The backyard is huge (for NYC standards; probably "large" for suburbanites). Plenty of room for lawn games.

We could tell that the whole house was updated/renovated. Everything was new and beautiful! Queen beds in each room. All bedrooms were very generously sized. Two bedrooms are for one couple each, with the third fitting two couples (2 Queen beds).

The owner even provided nice shower and beach towels - a real first for a weekend rental. Soft!

We walked to the beach which was super convenient. Nice and sandy. We got adventurous one of the days, and drove out 7 minutes to another beach. The owner provided us with many food and drink recommendations, much of which is a quick walk from the house. It felt so beachy and summery, just perfect.

We all loved the outdoor shower! It might have been my favorite part. That feels like summer.

The living room is big, as is the TV. We had excellent beach weather, but if we didn't, we would have been all set. They have wifi and a smart TV. The living room flows into the kitchen, which is also big.

**The kitchen is extremely well-equipped!! (obvious highlight for me). We had everything we needed to cook for 8 of us. Fridge is big, new dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, you name it. The grocery store (Stop & Shop) was 5 minutes away.

The ceiling fans kept everything very cool. It was peaceful when we wanted it to be, but then it was fun when we were in the mood for backyard games and shenanigans at the beach.

Everything is so well-maintained. You can tell they really care about this property. We are so looking forward to going back.

Great for a Group of Friends or Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The home was spotless - everything was clean and in immaculate condition. Lisa, the property manager, mentioned that the property was recently done over and you could tell that the new owners take real pride in their vacation home.

We were a group of 8 adults and though 2 couples shared a bedroom (2 separate comfy queen beds), the downstairs living area had more then enough room to accommodate our large party. There are two separate screened in porches. The front porch has a big table that could comfortably fit 8 and the back porch is perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail or taking a mid afternoon nap on the daybed.

The beach is only about a 5 minute walk and there is a great breakfast/coffee shop on the way. The owners left beach chairs and beach towels for us, which was a nice touch. There is also a wonderful outdoor shower that was perfect for the end of a sandy beach day.

Lisa was really wonderful about answering any questions that we had and she was happy to give us some recommendations in town - all within walking distance of the home.

We are already planning our trip for next year and I can't wait to come back!
