A wonderful condo. Great beds and linens. An easy walk to base of Beaver Creek Village in the summer. Free parking in their basement, all appliances worked very well in the unit. We much preferred the tranquility of Beaver Creek to the noise at night that accompanies Vail Village. No A/C in most of the area; so quiet is nice when you have the windows open. My teens favorite thing was Glenwood Springs rafting and adventure park. A great day trip.
We stayed for 6 nights and were two families with children ranging in age from 4-8. This unit had everything we needed for the adults to have their own space and plenty of blankets and pillows. The location was perfect- truly a ski in ski out location. The Highlands lift was right outside the ski storage room which was conveniently located on the same floor as the unit. We would take the shuttle in the morning (3 minute trip) to drop the kids at ski school in the beginning of our stay but by the end they were able to walk out the unit and ski right to ski school. The Highlands lift was also a great part of the mountain to ski with our beginner skiers for the day. I would definitely stay here again! Robin was very helpful in recommending restaurants and grocery delivery services which we used. The unit was clean and there was plenty of wood to enjoy a fire after a day of skiing. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Highlands lodge 207 is a great condo. We had 6 in the condo and it's plenty of room. Being on the same floor as the locker room was great as well. The only thing that needs to be provided is starter for the fireplace. We were not able to have a fire since the logs were the only thing provided.
My family of 5 (three children 9,13,15) had an amazing time during our stay at Highlands Lodge. Great location! We love the unit and will be back!
This was a great condo, comfortable and spacious enough for 2 families to share. You can ski out the door from the end of the hallway, where the ski lockers are located.
This was our first time to Beaver Creek and in researching places to stay, Highlands Lodge was the perfect fit for our family. The ski lockers were located right on the 2nd floor, same level as the condo. It was a short and easy ski tfrom the lockers hat my 3, 6 and 7 year old children could handle to the base of the mountain. To get back, you take the Buckaroo gondola up and ski right into the lockers! The condo was nicely furnished and stocked with basics like dishwasher sponge, soap, laundry detergent. Plenty of dishware, mugs, glasses, silverware for the 6 of us. The manager, Tim, was super friendly and accessible by phone. We asked for a vacuum and restocking of some basic items mid-week and he came over and insisted on vacuuming himself! We were pleasantly surprised that it was stocked with several board games and books that we enjoyed as a family. The kids loved the bunk beds that could sleep 4! The master bedroom has a king sized comfortable bed. There was a nice built in bench alongside the window with plenty of drawer space beneath. The 3rd bedroom is a cozily decorated room with a queen sized bed and its own private full bathroom. We had access to firewood in the garage and lit fires daily in the wood burning fire place. We even bought S'more kits in the Village Market and did them in the condo! The Highlands lodge is within a reasonable walking distance downhill to the village (probably 8-10 min in snow) and we did occasionally walk. Mainly because of the 3 feet of snow we had over 2 days and the cold front that followed, we used Dial-a-Ride to get to anywhere in the village, even to Bachelor Gulch. It was extremely prompt, convenient, and dispatch and driver services were very polite. The village has numerous delicious restaurants to choose from. But we ate in the condo several times (esp breakfast!) for convenience (used A La Car food delivery service out of Avon which was a nice find for take out) . All in all, this condo (and skiing in Beaver Creek) was amazing for us and we shall be back!
