Very clean. Lots of comfy lounging room. Quiet with good space from neighbors. Beautiful view of the rolling lawn to the lake with good swimming and boating. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We have been coming to Inks Lake State Park for many years now and camping with the kids and grandkids. The house, although several years old, was updated and very comfortable. We swam in the river, canoed, grilled on the deck and enjoyed the air conditioning at times too. After checking out of the house Sunday we did spend the rest of the day at the State Park which is only 10 minutes or so away. Thanks again!
Had a great time, minus worrying about the repairman who was there 60 percent of the time and trying to hang out with our group. Had to have someone inside watching our stuff because we were not comfortable leaving the mohawk repairman alone with our valuables. Made for a slight discomfort. And inconvenience... both days he was there . Due to that it made us uncomfortable and leading to someone missing out on fun activities and our reunion together....there was also alot of ferrell cats at all times on the back deck . I will be making sure I go with a better place next time and make sure my time is not spent worrying. And I get to enjoy my time.instead of babysit and play guard duty.
We rented this property for our family Fourth of July getaway. The setting is perfect, large lawn, steps into the lake and gentle slope in the water. There were plenty of lawn chairs and shade to sit in the yard. The home was clean and was well stocked, the kitchen had all we needed for all the things we cooked. The Master Bedroom was our kids room. The third bedroom was large enough but could have used a fan as it was a very hot weekend.
The kids particularly enjoyed the air hockey table. The living area was big and plenty of room for all of us.
The owner let us know that the floods had destroyed part of the dock but he cleared all the debris out of the way and it was no problem to us at all.
The convenience store is five minutes away and we used it several times.
We would definitely consider this house again in the future.
