Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
This is a corner unit at the Crescent. The huge balcony wraps around the building and shares views of the North as well as the Gulf. It is over 500 square feet. This is an extremely well equipped unit. The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and a small flat screen tv. The master bathroom has been completely renovated with travertine tile, granite and a rain tree shower along with separate deep jetted tub. There are flat screen televisions and dvd players in every room. We just put in a brand new 55 inch flat screen with a sound bar and subwoofer. The unit also has plantation shutters throughout. It comes with free wifi that's fast enough for video streaming.
Walk to restaurants and shopping including the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. The unit comes with an umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach everyday. The complex features a huge clover leaf pool as well as a smaller heated pool and a separate hot tub. There is business library in the lobby complete with a printer. There is also a fitness center with cardio equipment and weights. All you need to bring are clothes and a beach towel!
Bike rentals, parasailing, yolo boarding, surfing, and kayaking are among the many nearby activities.
We have a Kuerig Brewing Machine... Single serving K-Cup Machine in addition to a traditional coffee maker.

If you cancel within twenty (20) days of your scheduled check-in date, the full Rental Rate will be forfeited, but the damage deposit will be refunded if applicable.
No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or early departure for any reason. No cancellations due to weather.
EXCEPTION: If a mandatory evacuation is issued for Walton County coastal areas, we will refund the prorated Rental Rate from the day the evacuation is issued until the end of the week.

The water and sand in the area are amongst the more beautiful in the world and I have been all over. I have been to Destin every year of my life and even lived there for a number of years. Easily one of my favorite places on Earth....
What makes this Condo unique
The pool is extremely large and very nice. Having the backup heated pool is very convenient during cold times. There is covered parking and the location is ideal. The landscaping is immaculate, and the balcony views are amazing.

Wonderful, clean, awesome views. Very close to everything you need. Great privacy with parking, pool, and beach. Great layout! We watched dolphins from the balcony. Pictures are accurate. Beds were compfortable.
The beach is just perfect! No complaints at all.
Perfect vacation spot
The property is very well managed, easy in and out through secured gates. Fantastic views of the beach from the balcony, which is huge. A perfect place to start your day with breakfast and then go for a walk along the sugar sand beaches. Very close to shops and restaurants, Surf Hut is right next door for some oysters and cold beer at sunset. Already looking into coming back in the fall.
Outstanding Condo (See Pros and Cons)
Our week long stay in this condo was very good. The condo was extremely clean and was wonderfully furnished. The king size bed, in the master, was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in when renting via VRBO.
Being an end unit had its Pros and Cons.
It had a huge wrap around balcony with spectacular views of the nicely landscaped pool area and the gulf of Mexico. The furniture on the balcony was very nice as well.
The only reason we couldn't give this condo a 5 Star Review (not really a fault of the owner)
was that it was an end unit that was next to an upscale, very busy beach-side restaurant (The Surf Hut).
When sitting on the balcony, you could hear the constant noise from all of the exhaust, air conditioning, etc. units that were in operation on the roof of the restaurant. It was just enough noise to obstruct hearing the soothing sounds of the waves on the beach.
Additionally, around 7:30am each morning, there were several trucks that would arrive to resupply the restaurant and they would leave their diesel motors running which could also be heard from the balcony and master bedroom even with the sliding patio doors completely shut.
One day, there was a small front end loader that arrived at 7:00am which was being used to "resurface" the gravel parking lot adjacent to the condo complex and next to the condo itself. It needed to have the surface leveled out again to rid it from numerous potholes.
This went on for an hour and every time the operator put it in reverse (too many times to count) it's backup beeper made a loud sound. This was extremely bothersome and at 7:00am and was not what we wanted to hear. Between the constant beeping and the sound of the scraping of the bucket on the gravel, it was anything but peaceful. Good news though.....they probably don't have to do this too often.
We realize both of these noise problems were not the fault of the owner of the condo!
However, because of the relative close proximity of this end unit to the restaurant you should know that it could be bothersome to other renters too.
So.........although it would have been better without the restaurant being right next door..... it was a great condo in a very well maintained low rise complex.

Fantastic Beachfront property!
The unit is in excellent condition and is even better in person than what the pictures show. We were very impressed with the size and space of this condo and balcony when compared to others (also everything is updated). The pool area is great for adults and children and the condo is a short walk to the surf hut restaurant. The owner is also very responsive although we had no issues during our stay.
Exceptional Condo !
317 Crescent is a great spot. Beautifully decorated and has every possible extra you could want. The view, the pool the cleanliness of the entire complex all add up to an exceptional property. The owner was very quick in replying and had answers for our questions.
GREAT Week at Cresant Condo!
I have used vrbo for several beaches rentals over the last twenty years and we immediately feel in love with the condo. I think with other rentals we have experienced it all. We loved the under roof parking and the pool was so beautiful. The condo was clean and ready for us when we arrived and after a 10 hour drive we are ready to check in. The owner sent the condo numbers several days ahead. The two king beds slept very restful. The tvs and dvd players worked and were large. The kitchen met all our needs. And we loved the full size washer and dryer. Thanks again for sharing your condo and we hope to stay again in the future.
