Beautiful, clean home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of five plus two dogs. The deck is perfect for watching sunsets.

Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm glad that I added the AC unit when I remodeled to cool down those sometime warm afternoons. Those sunsets are terrific.

We stayed here while attending NAU graduation ceremonies. This house can be described best by only one word...EXTRAORDINARY! Very comfortable and homey feeling, yet exceptionally furnished, decorated, and very well maintained. The question that kept running through my mind was, "Why wouldn't the owners want to live here all the time?"

Owner's Response: good questions Stan. Answer: my wife still works in Phoenix. We do come up as often as time allows. Starting in 2018, we will be up much more often. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Spacious house for a family of 5

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful experience with our stay. The house was plenty big for 2 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had their own space which was very nice. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and was great to have since we ate breakfast and dinner there each day and were able to pack our lunches to take with us. The house was situated right in the middle of all of the attractions we wanted to visit so great location. Loved the neighborhood it was in. Doug was great to work with as well. I highly recommend this place.

Great location and wonderful home!

  • 5 of 5

House is close to Flagstaff, making provisioning easy. Centrally located to Phoenix (2hrs.), Grand Canyon (2.5hrs), Petrified Forest (3 hrs) and close to many amazing National Monuments, State Parks and Sedona. House has ample space and provides great access to hiking outside of the back door, reading on the deck or just relaxing in front of the fireplace or TV.

House is exceptionally maintained, the owner was easy to contact and provided lots of good information about place to go. There was plenty of room for six people, with a huge second floor master suite. I would highly recommend this rental and hope to visit that area again.

Beautiful home

  • 4 of 5

The home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable; we slept soundly each night. We didn't cook much, but it appeared that the kitchen was very well suited for someone who liked to cook. Unfortunately the restaurants listed on Trip Advisor for Munds Park were closed for the season, so we had to drive at least 30 minutes to eat. No fault of the owner; that was my error in not asking or checking online. We enjoyed watching movies at night (there were some available). Would recommend!

Family Thanksgiving 2016

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 3 generations enjoyed an absolutely marvelous few days at the cabin. The dwelling was so very lovely, well-appointed, comfortable and convenient. The owners/hosts efforts to ensure our stay was every bit as desired were, indeed, successful. They provided all the information we needed to locate the cabin readily and make ourselves at home. They were attentive and available a call or text away both prior to and during our stay. We were able to enjoy 3 cooks in the kitchen at once! Our make-your-own pizza bar was quite a hit. We truly appreciated the personal welcome gifts. We enjoyed so many aspects of being in the higher country of Arizona: hiking, watching wildlife, walking, visiting Sedona and Flagstaff, smelling the fragrance of the pines, gathering their needles and cones for crafts. And, oh, the wonderful views! Great photo opportunities, indoors and out. What a lovely environment the hosts (and God) provided for our refreshment, relaxation, enjoyment in the company of our loved ones. I must give credit to the architect and builders, too. Truly thankful. Each of our party hope to return in various seasons - and bring friends and other family too! We may have begun a new tradition!
