The Nest Egg is a beautiful new 3 BR/3 Bath Bed & Breakfast located on the quintessential country lane, Camp Hopewell Road. It is designed to be rented as a whole house or rooms can be rented individually (see rates below). You may access your BR from the Common Room or your own exterior entrance. The fully furnished kitchen/dining/den Common Room is shared space. Each bedroom has its own coffee & mini kitchen.
This cottage farm house is furnished with antiques & vintage collections to give the feel of a long existing property. There is a two night minimum. We have recently renovated our horse barn to create a special Wedding & Event venue. See web-site for more information.
EDEN is a King BR decorated in a garden style. The bathroom has terra cotta tile, glass shower and an antique sink vanity. $165/night
HAVEN is our Queen BR with a cottage theme. It has a large antique linen press converted for the TV cabinet and clothes storage. $155/night
SANCTUARY our double Queen BR, has a vintage bird theme and it's own screened sleeping porch. The bathroom has a double sink vanity and a renovated claw foot tub & shower. $200/night
THE LOVE NEST (2) The Love Nest is a private, Romantic King Suite. It's a 520 square foot open-concept King apartment/bedroom suite built into the end of our Tractor Shed. It started out as a personal "get-away" space for us but we quickly realized our guests are intrigued by staying in this quaint and cozy space. It has a king bed, a fully furnished kitchen, sitting 'room', bathroom, and covered outdoor breakfast room. The Love Nest is the most private of all our private spaces.

I don't have a phone number listed because I just might be in the barn or hen house when you call. Email your dates and I can check the calendar more efficiently during my desk time.
Linda and Holly love living in the Country and sharing their beautiful property with people from various parts of the world.

We began renting the children's wing of our house (see vrbo The Empty Nest) a few years ago, thinking we would just make use of the 'wasted space'. Innkeeping has become a large part of our Empty Nester life.
The Empty Nest is on vrbo, #325100 , if you need different space than the 3/3 of The Nest Egg or the one king BR Love Nest.
Enjoy the quiet of a country morning, drinking coffee on your own private porch. A light Continental breakfast with our own farm fresh eggs, is provided. Our property adjoins the Holly Springs National Forest so wildlife is abundant. We have horses to pet, watching 'the girls' (hens) is surprisingly intriguing, it's just a short hike to our sandy bottomed creek, walk your dog (or ours), or just hang out on your own private porch. Or make the easy ten minute drive to Oxford and enjoy world class restaurants, shopping, and Ole Miss sports events.
We loved staying here!! Our child is a senior at Ole Miss and this is our favorite place to stay so far! The house is charming, gracious, well appointed representation of the proprietors. Every detail is meticulously and beautifully thought through. It is not far from the university or the square at all but feels as if you are miles and miles away in the country! Do find it the first time in daylight; makes it a little easier.
What a place! We went for our third child's graduation and had relatives coming from Texas & Georgia as well as throughout Mississippi and we all stayed here. We drove home to Bay St. Louis today and the whole way we received phone calls from our family ranting and raving about the Nest Egg and when could we return! This is a special, and memorable place run by people who care to put on the best! WE WILL BE BACK!
Our stay at Nest Egg was perfect. The setting would suit a variety of activities, from couples football weekends to a wedding. We arrived for a weekend birthday celebration for our son, a student at Ole Miss. We were warmly greeted and instantly felt at home. Beautifully appointed cottage, with all the touches of a 5 star resort, all or our needs were met and exceeded, with grace and style. Trips into town via Molly Bar Road, were quick and easy. Date night at McEwens was delicious and breakfast at BB's is always worth the wait. We HIGHLY recommend this property, it will always be our first choice and we are already planning a return stay!!
We stayed here just one evening but I wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was just great from the scenery to the relaxing pool to the country like decor. They really did think of everything to make for an enjoyable stay. I look forward to returning with my family again for a longer vacation!
Can't wait to go back. The Kitchen is lovingly outfitted with everything you need to enjoy your stay.
The table kept us sitting and talking and enjoying each others company and the beds were comfy.
I highly recommend it.
