Had a fantastic stay here for 3 days in late June. Apartment is near everything you need.... Restaurants, public transport, shops, groceries and more.
The apartment is neat, tidy, clean and has all the amenities you could want.
Alex met us at the apartment when we arrived and explained everything to us and gave us some tips.
It is on the third floor without a lift but the stairs make for great exercise!
Definitely stay here again when we return to Paris
I was very much looking forward to staying in this apartment as everything looked decent in the photos and the reviews seemed to be very good overall. However, after one night I was ready to leave and book a hotel but this was not an option as there were 4 of us and the cost would have been too high. The neighborhood is lined with bars and a few decent places to eat. The bars are packed every night and the street noise is unbearable. I realized it was during the Euro-2016 tournament but my god, the noise, and until on average 3:00-4:00am. The windows help with some of the noise but still, impossible to sleep. There is no AC in the apartment and it is impossible to have the windows open at night due to all the loud street noise. As for functionality of the apartment, the shower does not drain well at all. Within two minutes your in ankle deep water. It then takes about 30 minutes for it to completely drain. Overall, the bathroom was awful. The washer/dryer is a combination (all in one) unit. Maybe the design looked good on paper but in reality, it's horrible. Takes 3 hours to run one load and your clothes come out hot, damp, and smelling like a wet dog. You then have to hang them up for hours to completely dry them. The towels are worn out rags at best and the bed sheets are so old, used, and stained that I almost went out to buy new ones so I could try and sleep, again next to impossible with the street noise. Maybe this place is better for a few 20 year olds who want a step up from a hostel (that's being generous) and are planning on using it as a place to crash after spending every night out drinking. As for location, not really all that good. Several underground stops/changes to most sites. When I return to Paris, I'll go back to staying in the Eiffel Tower area in a hotel. Regardless of price, I would never return to this place. I wanted to like it but that was just not possible. Oh, I was traveling with my sister (both of us in early 40s) and her son and my daughter (11 and 14). Overall advice, look elsewhere...
We stayed there with my family for 15 days. Considering the price paid, it's perfect. The location couldn't be better. It's in the middle of "everything", but super quiet (except maybe on Saturday nights). It's absolutely equipped; not only considering appliances, but it has all the basic stuff you would need are already there. alexandre was there when we reached the apartment, and let us stay until 7pm the day we were leaving free of charge.
Everything worked perfect, washing machine, dish washer, microwave, tv, etc. THe space was as shown on the pictures.
I would definitely recommend this place, considering its rate price/quality. Hope to be back soon.
This was our second stay in this apartment and we cannot speak highly enough of it. The location is perfect and two minutes away from a great Supermarket, resturants and coffee shops and the Metro. The apartment itself is very clean, very tidy and has all the facilities that are needed for your stay including speedy Wifi. Alexandre met us on our arrival, was very helpful and we know had we needed his assistance, he would have been on hand to help as he is very friendly and approachable. We wouldn't stay anywhere else now when visiting Paris!
Alexandre was a great host. He met us when we arrived and provided everything we needed during our stay in Paris. The apartment is in a great neighborhood and is walking distance to many "must-see" sights. There are several metro stations nearby as well. We were a family of four and there was plenty of room for all of us. Wifi worked great. The apartment was clean and comfortable which was very important after long days of walking and sightseeing. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Alexandre for your hospitality.
We loved the location and the apartment was comfortable. The downside, which didnt affect our stay, was we never could figure out the washer/dryer. Will definitely return!
