My name is Suzanne, and I am a Sign Language Interpreter, Massage Therapist, adventurer, traveler, and people lover. I run two vacation rentals, one on Vashon Island (ask me about it!), and one here in the heart of Seattle. I am originally from New York, but was drawn to the beauty of the Northwest, with its mountains, water, and wilderness. I hope to share a piece of all that I love here with travelers from far and near. Looking forward to meeting you!
Suzanne Greenberg purchased this apartment in 2011
I chose this apartment to be my 'pied a terre', or city home because I live on Vashon, but work in Seattle, so I wanted to have a place I could stay and live during the work week. The location for this condo was ideal, being next to downtown, near Capitol Hill, theaters restaurants, and the Convention Center.
I love being so near to the heart of the city, especially if I've been in my rural Vashon home for a stretch. I like being able to walk everywhere; go to movies, out to eat, shopping, etc, and never get in a car. I love the view from my perch, especially that I can look down and see trees and greenery planted on the convention center, as well as buildings of the city scape in the further distance, and the peek of Lake Union from the master bedroom. What a treat!
I was looking for an apartment for 5 of us and the most important things were location and price. The Nest is absolutely perfect for what we needed. You really can't get a better deal than this in this type of location. We were 10 minutes (max) walkign distance from Pike Place Market, and right in the heart of the downtown shopping scene. There was even a secure garage that we could use which is brilliant in this part of town. The apartment itself was also great, with plenty of space and super clean. The owner even had a welcome basket waiting for us complete with some wine and seattle treats.
The Nest is a fantastic little apartment that is very convenient to downtown Seattle! I stayed with 4 other friends and we all had plenty of room and had a great time. Suzanne was a joy to work with and responded quickly to questions. The apartment was clean, well set up, and comfortable. The convenience of nearby bus stops was great and being within walking distance of most of downtown was fantastic as well!
We enjoyed staying at Suzanne's place during a recent 5 day trip to Seattle. "The Nest" has everything you need and is relaxing and comfortable. Instructions about the property were clear and straightforward. There was a secure garage to park our rental car in. Thanks for stocking the kitchen with the little things (like S&P, tea, condiments, etc) and the welcome basket. :-) We loved the nighttime view over the city and how easy it was to get to places (UW, Capitol Hill, ferries, freeway system, etc). Didn't try the roof terrace, but will next time! Thanks so much for the great hospitality.
We stayed 3 nights for a convention and couldn't be happier with this location. A 3m walk to the convention centre was very convenient. From coffee/coffee maker to in-suite laundry to A/C, you don't need anything but a change of clothes. Very clean, neat & affordable. We'll definitely stay here again our next trip back.
We loved our stay! There were three of us and the apartment was perfect. Within walking distance to everything, but we had a car, so the covered parking was awesome. The apartment is clean, comfortable and very homey. We really enjoyed our stay and would make it a point to stay in this apartment again on our next visit.
Location: Really good. Within walking distance to all locations in Seattle. Easy to get to.
A/C provided in 2 rooms, which was very nice!
All devices worked with no issues. Room was easy to get to.
Overall we are pleased, great customer service!
