I was amazed that this appartment was absolutely everything the add said it was!! We just moved my son to Boston and I hope this very apartment is available for every visit we make!

Tale of Two Experiences: Building vs. Management Company

Whenever you rent a location sight unseen, there can always be speed bumps. The issue we faced in Boston was different. On the one hand, the building and unit were new and offered some nice amenities. On the other hand, The Team who manages the unit is a perfect example of High Tech/Low Touch. Yes, they are available 24/7 but you don't get the local team you reach a national call center. The time between your call and any response can take minutes to hours and days. Even getting a key (which was not in the room as directed and locked my family out for almost a 1/2 hour in the hallway because cleaning crew didn't do what they should have) took multiple calls and people because the Ink people won't budge till The team authorizes their management. Bad communication model after two years. And speaking of communication the listing is vague and not what was promised. Flat sheets on the bed, not high quality linens, towels were threadbare and small, no coffee maker until one was finally delivered on the second day. And things like listing an outdoor grill is available, only to find its seasonal only. Finally, the decor is all Ikea like quality, window shades were broken, furniture cheap. The biggest complaint is there was no mention about the incessant noise from the highway and construction sites nearby. Virtually impossible to sleep in the one room. Perhaps this place is find for millennials but for adults traveling with small children, it really didn't work out. Yes its nice to have a kitchen and to be downtown but this property was not as described nor was the service what it should have been. Again, the building has great style and potential but after two years, this renter needs to offer a better communication process and response effort. Inside the unit it was hardly a "Posh" 2 BR and really not in the South End--more like between Chinatown and South End. I will mention Romain (like the lettuce) who delivered a brand new coffee pot at 6 PM on a Friday after a call from Vincent finally prompted action.

Accommodations were great - perfect space for a family of four. Had everything we needed for our sta

Building was safe. There was always someone at the front door - ensuring only residents or guests were entering the building.

We were able to cook breakfast and dinner with utensils and cutlery provided.

Whole Foods and Peet's Coffee in the building was also very convenient.

Also, the rooms, bathrooms and bed linens were very clean.

Definitely would stay here again in the future!!
