I had many lovely passions in life, that is until I began to focus on raising children while working! Now that my oldest children are able to help me with my youngest, I have felt a sense of freedom, tempting me to focus again on the things that once interested me; Naturopathic medicine, reading, sports and business. There is great satisfaction in developing a service that is branded in quality, style, and class. I have traveled the globe myself, staying in many different types of accommodations, which has inspired me to create a series of fully equipped and furnished upscale housing for travelers both short-term and long that they can feel the difference between our housing and others. Quality furnishings with the added touches of someone who truly cares can make the difference between an okay trip and a great trip. I want for my customer what I would have wanted for myself in my traveling years. Moreover, when I finish a property, it is hard for me to leave as I want to live there myself!

About our property manager who happens to be my father :)

Roberto is bilingual (fluent English & Spanish) and a considerate eager manager always ready to tend to our customers. He is a Houston veteran and knows everything about this exciting city. He goes above and beyond in guest satisfaction. His job is to make your stay memorable!

Roberto can be of assistance with anything. He will meet you as needed, and can arrange for extra maid services and other assistance.

Why Emily chose Houston

After months looking for the right property that was located just right, was safe and had upscale construction, I found this property and jumped on it.

What makes this house unique

It is almost impossible to find a rental this size of house in the area. And I didn't cut any corners on its renovation (replaced all carpeting with hardwood or tiles) and the furnishing. My goal was to create an environment that I would want to live in myself, and spoil our guests with things they can not find in another rental.

Just right

Great experience all around.

Introductory e-mail had all the information we needed about the property. Digital locks meant we didn't have to worry about meeting up to find keys. Gated community made the location feel quite safe. The home is lovely, elegant, clean, well-maintained, roomy, comfortable. Owner contacted us via e-mail & WhatsApp several times before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that the owner wanted us to have a positive experience.

Would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Houston, and/or recommend to friends who are visiting the area.

VERY NICE HOUSE IN HOUSTON

The house is very beautiful and clean. Conveniently located near NRG Stadium for a game we attended on Sunday. Would definitely return when visiting Houston again.

A GREAT HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We stayed at this house while my daughter went to MD Anderson ,(about 4 miles away). The house is very comfortable and well kept. Some of the other reviews spoke of a balcony problem. The balcony has been fixed and looks as if there was never a problem. When renting a house of this caliber it takes a lot longer to make repairs like that because it is booked so much. The kitchen is one I would love to have at my own house. Emily,(the owner) and Roberto,(the property manager) were both great to work with and very helpful. Both made the stay, (10 days) very enjoyable especially due to the reason we were there. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants close by. All in all it was the perfect house and location. If it was possible I would rate it a 10 instead of a 5. Hopefully on our return trips, (which may be many) we will try to stay here. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE. If you are looking for a home away from home and a enjoyable stay this house fits the bill.

The property was amazing. Everything was extremely clean and the decor was lovely.

If I am ever in Houston again, this is the place I would stay everytime. I brought my 25th birthday in with 5 of my closest friends and we had a blast. The location is close to all of the attractions such as the mall, stadium, and many good restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and Emily was awesome. She communicated with very well me and was there for anything I needed. Loved this place!

Very dissatisfied

The other reviewers are correct in saying this is a nice property and is presented as pictured in the site. EXCEPT for the hole in the balcony that can cause you to fall as soon as you walk out on to it. Furthermore, if you do not want to be harassed by a paranoid owner for things her previous renter did that have nothing to do with you I suggest you stay away from this home. She provides amenities such as a washer/dryer with detergent, snacks, coffee, and travel sized shampoos and soaps but will complain if you use them. My friends and I washed the dishes and did basic cleaning of the home and the owner still told us that we caused her to have to pay extra for cleaning. She is very unprofessional and made our stay very uncomfortable as we were threatened that we would be watched by surveillance cameras. Also, once the complaint of the balcony was brought to the owners attention she said that she did not agree that it is a hazard but one of my friends really had to catch her balance as she walked out on the balcony because there was no warning of the possible danger. Please explore other options for your stay in Houston.

Owner's Response: I am deeply disturbed about this review that is twisted with untruths. We have shared and reviewed the details of this incident with Homeaway and they have determined that there was no merit to this complaint. This rental home is our pride and joy and we love to spoil and please our guests. This tenant, however, became agitated when we learned she had 7 other friends staying although only 2 were on the reservation, therefore we asked for the licenses of all those staying. She remained inconsistent with the information provided to us. We had back-to-back fraudulent rental payments prior to her stay, with severe damages, which was explained to her as a reasoning for needing licenses and accurate number of guests. We did this kindly and professionally through Homeaway, no harassing. We never have an issue with any tenant using supplies and amenities, on the contrary, it makes us happy to see tenants enjoying and taking advantage of what we provide for them.Contrary to what was mentioned in the review above, it is of utmost importance to provide a safe and comfortable house for our tenants. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that we have an attentive property manager and a professional cleaning crew tending to our property for each visit. All of our tenants through this and other website listings have seen that we do care immensely, and make sure our tenants feel happy and welcome.

This townhome should not be rented. The patio on the second floor has a big hole in the cement. We almost fell and broke our ankles near the balcony. The entire balcony floor is soft and vulnerable.

Owner's Response: This review is from the same party that left the other poor review, and is NOT a separate reservation. We had issues with this group, therefore they posted the same review twice. Our balcony had water damage from a heavy rain right before their stay. We brought a contractor to confirm that the balcony's structure was not vulnerable. Being so close to the next reservation, there was no time to repair the damage. We did not want to cancel their reservation last minute on them, since the issue did not affect the house at all. However, we got back to work on getting the balcony's water damage repaired right away.
