House, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Bolton House. My Great Grandmother purchased our summer home in 1907. It has past down three generations and now want to share it with responsible guests. The house has been remodeled several times, most recently in 2012. The house is set a top of a hill just five blocks for the town center. The main entrance is thru a large covered front porch. A second large porch runs off the main bedroom The house has a large lawn in front including a fire pit and out door furniture.

About Patrick Tracy

My name is Patrick Tracy. I was raised in Bloomington, Indiana. I grew up summering in Bolton House with my family. I graduated from Nova South Eastern University. I moved from Tampa, Florida to Saugatuck in 2012. I chose to become the steward of Bolton House. I think it is important for others to experience a vacation in my family home.

Why Patrick Tracy chose Michigan

My Great grandmother purchased our summer home in 1907. My grandmother, her brothers and sisters were raised summering in Saugatuck. My parents made sure my brothers and I experienced Saugatuck during the summers of our youth. I want to share it with responsible guests.

What makes this house unique

I fell in love with this house because of the views that the two front porches and the large bay window provide. The house is located at the end of a road to assure privacy. Although secluded, there is a large front yard overlooking the town. Basketball and tennis courts are close by. The river and the downtown areas are a short walk. The historic chain ferry creates a one mile walk to the popular Oval Beach.

We had a family gathering over the 4th of July weekend and we had a blast! This house has a charm and a character. It's spacious and conveniently located. The owner is wonderful and accommodating to all our needs. I recommend this place to whoever wants to feel like home, away from home.
