Charming and friendly apartment in the center of Reykjavík and the old harbour. The fully furnished apartment has 2 bedrooms that have two single beds and 1 bedroom that has a queen bed and in the living room is a sofa bed that folds out. Located on a quiet street in walking distance from restaurants, shops, whale watching or nightlife. All major public transportation is very close. Taxis are almost always present just around the corner and buses stop right by. If you are taking guided tours we are right by many hotels where the buses stop for pickup and drop off. Ideal place for families or a group of friends.
This apartment was great for our group of six. We could walk to many different restaurants, bars and shops in the area. It has a nice view of the waterfront and even the Harpa. The beds were comfortable and the little balconies were nice to sit out on. We even saw the Northern Lights from them one night! The kitchen was equipped with the basics which was enough for us to have a nice breakfast everyday at "home". Communication was quick ,and any question we had was answered quickly. The only drawback was the parking spot. We had rented a van and the parking spot is in a courtyard that has a tight turn to get into. There was also a big construction site across the street that had made the road a bit narrower, so that made it a challenge. Overall the apartment was great. Thanks so much!
We had plenty of room in this 3-bedroom apartment. Linens and towels were provided, as well as WiFi. Plus, we were thrilled at the location near the harbor, as we could walk to any of the popular sites in the city and had an excellent view from our balcony of the Culture Night fireworks at Harpa!
The location of this apartment was PERFECT! After parking in the house assigned spot, we were able to walk to the old harbor and the pedestrian zone easily. The apartment was fantastically located, very clean and extremely comfortable...even with a family of 8! I would love to stay there again.
Apartment is steps to Harbor and all shops and restaurants. Photos show exactly how the apartment looks. Clean, Bright. Three good sized bedrooms and spacious living area. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Has parking for one car. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was very responsive with answers to questions.
This is the perfect apartment for a small family. My mother, son, and I stayed at this apartment during our stay in Iceland. The location is perfect and is within walking distance of the marina and the main shopping streets, as well as a grocery store and restaurants. We were able to take the airport express bus from the airport to the Icelandair Hotel Marina, which is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Our tours also picked us up from the Marina hotel. The apartment is very clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The landlord was very helpful and responded to all of my emails in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this apartment.
