We recently stayed at this property for 2 weeks. The pictures do show a cute rental, the reality is a bit different. Out first night there we found the lock box was broken so were not sure if a key had been taken or if indeed there was only one key. After we got settled, I wanted to connect to WIFI and realized it wasn't working. We called the property manager right away, and was told we may get someone over there tonight to take care of it, but it would probably be the next day. Amazing (the best part of our review) a man named Joe came by to fix it all around 8:00 pm. While there we had expressed that the cheap wine opener broke the first time we used it, and low & behold, he stopped by our rental the next day with a brand new wine opener! Amazing guy!
A few other issues... I HATE cockroaches (like insane hate) and we ran into a half dozen. (we have been staying in La Jolla Shores for over 30 years and have never seen a cockroach. (Though I am sure they are lurking somewhere). Many spider webs were hidden thu-out. Our shower door was very difficult to slide open (though Joe fixed one side, the other side just didn't slide). The shower itself was very difficult to control the temperature (the owner should take a shower in there sometime). The valance in the kitchen window fell off, the window in the bedroom almost completely came out when I tried to open it, the upholstery is very stained & worn. The dishes appeared clean, but there was not a complete set, the lights were dim. And though it was clear that the unit does not have an A/C, I will warn you that the unit registered 98 degrees during the afternoon. Get the A/C!!!
The parking was a plus.
