Terrible stay

  • 1 of 5

Came back to cabin to find we had no water and they were unable to fix it for two days. We were not offered any other accommodations. We were only offered bottle water, which was never brought out. Owner never showed or offered any help even though he was only a hour away. There is no cell phone service and no land line service which made it very difficult to communicate with reality company. We had to travel 15 miles down the mountain to pick up cell service. This is a very remote cabin with very few amenities and a bad driveway which did not show up when I booked. Bad bed and few linens and no way to wash any. CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Nice property on short notice

  • 3 of 5

The website gives impression that property is on water at first glance. Upon confirmation, map is sent with details showing not so. Otherwise, a short drive to one of two public ramps on the lake. No other access from entire property. Road to property is mostly gravel which can be a hassle or fun depending on your vehicle. Main bed is comfortable and firm. Biggest issue was lack of any condiments or spices (except for a little salt and pepper) for cooking. Also, bring your own pots and pans as the ones in cabinet are either rusty or the Teflon flaking badly.

Other than that a good place on short notice for a 1-3 day stay, however a bit expensive for what is offered.
