Ocean one offers luxury in a peaceful and beautiful ocean front setting in two and three bedroom exquisitely appointed, self-catering villas capable of sleeping up to six adults. It is not a hotel but 21 privately owned luxury residences of which only a few are rented.

All units offer safe, spacious and comfortable beach front living, large glass fronted ocean view balconies with access to the communal pool, jacuzzi, gyms, beach front garden and terrace. All units are large (no less than 1389 sq.ft) and luxuriously furnished including the Italian design kitchens and bathrooms. The property also features 24 hr security, private driveway and parking, property manager and elevator access to all floors.

Activities & Nightlife - Oistins: A trip to Barbados just isn't complete without a visit to the famous and newly renovated Oistins Fish Fry. On Friday and Saturday evenings, revelers can indulge in some flying fish and rum punch or Banks Beer. Mingle with the locals that flock to this popular hangout where tasty food, lights and great music create a delightful atmosphere of Barbados' rich fisher folk culture. Oistins upgrades include new vendor stalls, improved sanitation, lighting and entertainment facilities, yet the traditional mold remains intact.

Activities - adventure and sightseeing: After a year of redevelopment, Harrison's Cave, Barbados' most popular visitor attraction, recently re-opened during the first week of January 2008. This crystallized limestone cavern is full of stalactite and stalagmite formations creating the ultimate site for people of all ages. The newly improved cave features a fleet of six new trams -- two are wheelchair

accessible -- as well as ventilation, drainage, electrical lighting and a tracking system. Additionally, a Cave Interpretive Center has been added to the gully floor and features a multi-media presentation that holds up to 40 people, interactive displays, an enhanced passenger boarding area, washrooms, souvenir shop and snack bar.

Unit 202 is a three bedroom luxury unit on the second floor and as with all of the units at Ocean One features a huge all glass ocean view balcony. All Italian designed kitchens and bathrooms. Hi end GE Profile kitchen equipment. All furnishings done by interior designer. Huge flat screen TV with cable and all mod cons. The apartment has air-conditioning throughout as well as ceiling fans. You can dine indoors or out on the balcony. The white sand beach is long and never crowded and is safe for swimming.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean One. Unit 202 was really nice and meet our needs. The view was STUNNING and we would come back in a heartbeat. Bonnie and the concierge staff were always helpful and answered all our questions promptly. Had a great trip!

My husband and our 2 children, ages 9 and 11 stayed at Ocean one. It was a beautiful apartment. It looked even better in person than the photos could portray. They had a great professional staff that included a cleaning service 2 times a week and a delightful welcome "munchie" package on our arrival. It was much needed as we were starved upon arrival!

Security was great. We were given a FOB which allowed us into the front gate as well as in and out of the condo complex. We had no negative incidences.

The location was perfect and access to the beach was a breeze - we were basically on the beach! The beach was never crowed and there were plenty of lawn chairs etc. - which meant no race each day for a seat. We spent many hours on the balcony as well, as it was just like being on the beach, but we were able to stay out the sun. It was the best of both worlds. It was roomy and we ate most of our breakfasts and dinners there, not to mention we watched about 4 weddings right below us. Such a treat as my daughter loved to see all the wedding dresses.

Shopping for food was convenient as well. We were able to walk down the beach and head into town to get food as well as visit any restaurants. St. Lawrence’s Gap was a short taxi ride away and the taxi service was courteous and quick.

I was very apprehensive about writing a review, because I did not want to give this "secret" place away, but thought that Albert and all the staff deserved a raving review. Job well done!!

We have already rebooked for next year.

Ocean One is located directly on Maxwell Beach - no walk necessary and is also 15-20mins drive away from the International Airport and the same distance from the main city/shopping center Bridgetown. 5mins drive is the popular St. Lawrence Gap well known for its many dining, entertainment and partying options. 5minds away is Oistins which is known for the weekend outdoor Oistins fish fry, recently rated by Zagat. Many activities are available within a few mins drive from golf and tennis to horse racing, polo and much more.

Barbados was named the 'World's No. 1 Hotspot for Celebrities in 2007' by

internationally recognized travel website, since the island's

beauty is captivating and the weather is simply addictive. But combine that

with Barbados' rich history, lifestyle and natural attractions and it's even

easier to see why it's impossible for both celebrities and travelers to stay

away for long.

Sunny weather all year round makes Barbados an ideal location for golf and the perfect vacation spot for golfers and 'would-be' golfers! The glorious weather conditions are complemented by world-class golf courses and facilities. Most golf clubs offer professional instruction.

Several golf tournaments are hosted throughout the year, attracting participants from a number of countries including Europe and North America. In December 2006 Barbados hosted the World Golf Championships World Cup. The our-day tournament was held at the Sandy Lane Resort on the west coast of the island.

Your choice of clubs include the Rockley Golf Club, The Barbados Golf Club, Royal Westmoreland Golf Club and three courses to choose from at the posh Sandy Lane Golf Club.

In October 2004, perhaps the world's most famous golfer - Tiger Woods - chose Barbados as the venue for his wedding. The ceremony took place at Sandy Lane Golf Course.
