Our December vacation was spur of the moment, way out of peak season. We saw squirrels and the stars out every night. It was just peaceful to do absolutely nothing, while the other half of us tended to business. Thanks for the wonderful place to stay.
*** This review was written in the homeowner's guest book for a stay in December, 2016
The house and pool were incredible and a great time was had by all. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied. The children really enjoyed the game room as well. Plenty of room to accommodate our large family.
Serene setting relaxing on the rear deck with morning coffee and fellowship.
I was under the impression the lake and the boat dock were closer than they were. The owner graciously provided a golf cart due to my bad hip and being unable to walk to the water.
My husband caught 4 bass out of the pond that is within view of deck.
We will definitely be returning.

This property is spacious, and would accommodate large crowds easily. Rent the golf cart, because the lake feels like it is a mile away. My family caught tons of fish off of the dock. The pool is clean, but the paint is coming off so it looks scary, but you will need it, because the house is so hot! The thermostat is locked at 76°, and temperatures in the house got as high as 86° during the heat of the day. This made our stay really rough. The master bed is extremely hard, so we put the kids on the couch, and slept in the pink room. I would like to have rated this higher, but my husband's constant complaining about his discomfort made our stay awful. The house is very clean.
The listing and pictures were accurate except this is not a lakefront house. The property is lakefront, however there are no views of the lake from the house. After a walk through the woods the property opens out to the lake and there is a dock for fishing or just enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. I would recommend this property to family and friends who are looking to get away and relax. We enjoyed our stay very much and spent most of our time on the back deck reading and relaxing. The owner was very responsive to our questions and very helpful.
We had a great time here. The kids loved the pool, ping pong and the pond. The dock on the lake was very relaxing. If we were not in the area for something else we probably would have never left the property. I would defiantly stay there again.
