We love Huntsville and the surrounding area. There is so much to do and see and it is so beautiful in all four seasons. We live in the country and use this residence ourselves as our in town cottage so we felt more people would also enjoy this experience.
You will enjoy being able to park your vehicle in our spacious driveway and walk to everything Huntsville has to offer.
We are a member of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce and will be able to keep you informed of all current activities.
The house was warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed, right down to written instructions on how to use all the remotes, very much appreciated as the Blue Jays were playing and some of us are big fans! The kitchen is well equipped complete with washer and dryer and the beds and pillows were very comfy. We loved the soap that was provided, which was made locally and we paid a visit to the shop downtown to purchase some before we left.
The house is downtown but in a quite area and we appreciated the list of restaurants and activities in the area that was provided. Cathy and her husband were more than accommodating and even went out of their way to meet me on the highway a couple of days after we left with the pillow that one of us had forgotten. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend Fairy Mill Guest House to anyone wanting to spend some time in a home away from home in Huntsville .
What a wonderful house for a girls getaway! House is charming, beds are comfortable and clean. So close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely recommend this house to friends!.
We spent a weekend in this charming home which was in a perfect location. All the amenities of home, very comfortable and very clean. Walking distance to the downtown area, it was great. Our hostess, Cathy was very friendly and accommodating. We would rent this house again!
This property felt like home. We found it's location ideal for walking the village and as a base camp for visiting Algonquin Park and the entire Muskoka region.
Excellent location and amenities. Suits a family of 6-perfectly. Definitely "home" away from home! Since it was located in almost downtown Huntsville, was bit concerned about the noise level. But those were just my own doubts and the place is very quite despite so close to downtown. In the summer months especially Aug, the rooms upstairs can get hot at night since there is no air conditioning, but can manage with fans provided. Kitchen is fantastic and can see Cathy's perfection in keeping everything you need! 45 min away from Algonquin Park. All in all highly recommended to anyone
We enjoyed this clean, comfortable restored cottage in northeastern Muskoka. A grocery and variety of lovely shops and restaurants are a short two blocks away. The house accommodated our busy family of five. A well-appointed kitchen allowed us to make most of our own meals. The living room is stocked with DVDs, books, games, and tourist activity brochures. Owner Cathy was friendly, responsive, and helpful with local information. We'd love to come back!
