This newly renovated guest cottage captures the true essence of Venice with its open floor plan, high, wooden ceilings, and indoor/outdoor spaces. The cottage is located in one of the most coveted and quiet neighborhoods in Venice, yet is just a 20 minute walk to the beach, and only a couple of blocks from all of the popular shops, restaurants, and cafes on trendy Abott Kinney Boulevard which was voted one of the "coolest" streets in the U.S. The cottage features a large sized bedroom with a queen bed, a very large common area with a full kitchen, dining area, and adjacent living room, which has a sleep sofa with a queen size bed for extra guests. The main area features french doors that open up to a quaint patio with a built -in sofa, outdoor gas grill, and two bicycles on hand for touring around the city. A parking space is located in front of the entrance. The guest house boasts a clean, contemporary, "beachy" decor, and includes many amenities such as WiFi and cable. This cottage is perfect for romantic getaways, family vacations, or long-terms stays for screenwriters and other creative types. The property has been newly listed. See Listing # for reviews of the owner's other rental property which has been rented for the past few years.

This was an adorable cottage, that was clean & nicely decorated. I would definitely return for another visit.
Great location and lovely home
We really enjoyed our stay in Venice in this great cozy property. We were 2 adults and 2 teens - there was plenty of room. The home was a perfect base for exploring the LA area.
A wonderful find!
I truly enjoyed all the stay in this so charming, stylish, private and very well located place. The host was very thoughtful since the prior days of checking in, everything was super well explained, as I didn’t need to ask him about anything. No problems at all. The place is super cute, well decorated, very spacious with a lot of storage available and clean. The abundant natural light was a big plus. Would stay there again 100% sure.
Thank you for the delightful experience!
Beautiful Beach Styled Cottage
Had a great stay at this property in March. The cottage is as it appears in the photos and is very nicely appointed and roomy. Bed is super comfortable. The patio is cozy and everything is very private, quite and secure. Managing the hot water in the shower takes a little to get used to but just follow the directions and you'll get the hang of it.
Located just a few blocks from all the hot spots on Abbott Kinney and walkable to a major grocery store on Lincoln. A slightly longer walk gets you to the Venice beach boardwalk or just take the bikes provided.
Highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
Cozy, private charming & comfortable
Fantastic place - great location but also incredibly private, comfortable & charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Five Stars Again!
This was our second week-long stay at the cottage while visiting family in Venice Beach. We've found it's a great jumping off spot for local activities, and equally comfortable just hanging around for some quiet time. The peaceful neighborhood setting has surprisingly easy access to the beach, local shopping, and excellent dining. We always especially enjoy strolling to Zinque on Venice Blvd. for late lunches on the patio. This year, Sunday brunch at Salt Air on Abbot-Kinney was a treat, and a delightful dinner at Centanni Trattoria is worth repeating. A visit to Pono Kitchen's patio for an excellent dinner with a stop at Jeni's Ice Cream on the way back was another memorable evening. For us, all were within an easy 10 - 20 minute walk. Other daily walking expeditions included visits to the lively and fascinating boardwalk at the beach, the famed Venice Canals, and explorations of the various shops along Abbot-Kinney. Closer to home, we enjoyed the serene, enclosed patio at the cottage for morning coffee and afternoon snacks. The cottage is completely self-contained with nice separation from the main residence. It's light, airy, filled with intriguing artwork and reading materials, and well-equipped for anything you might choose do to while there. If you have questions or need assistance, the host is easy to reach and responsive. There's no better recommendation we can give than to say this is the first place we look to book when we visit Venice Beach...
