Quintessential vineyard beach house in a prime Katama location. Walk accross the crushed shell driveway to the shed and take one of the supplied bicycles to the coveted South Beach in one direction (1 mile) or Edgartown village in the other (2 miles). This sun-soaked, well-appointed 4+ bedroom house underwent major renovations and upgrades in 2015, including a completely new kitchen; updated outdoor shower as well as a new mahogany deck that transitions to a sprawling new bluestone patio with a fire pit surrounded by outdoor couches and a professional grade 6-burner gas grill as part of an outdoor kitchen built of island field stone. Four bedrooms on upper two floors including 3 nicely sized bedrooms on the second floor with a full bath and separate laundry room plus a master suite tucked away on the first floor with a full bathroom, including a travertine walk-in shower and pebble floor. A new bedroom ("bunk room") and play room is on the lower level (finished basement) will be complete in October 2017 and central air will be installed by April 2018. The property is south facing on a tree-lined lot provides the perfect privacy off a quiet sandy road. Aside from groceries, this well-stocked house has everything you need to start enjoying the Vineyard the minute you arrive!

We rented this property for years and ultimately had the opportunity to purchase it in 2014. We love everything about this property -- it has a great layout; is on a private lot with terrific grounds; and it is in a perfect location in terms of proximity to the beach and village.

What makes this house unique

Location. You cannot beat the combination of privacy and proximity to the beach and village. Best of both worlds by bike.

Gorgeous well maintained property in very convenient and quiet setting near South Beach

The owners are very attentive and were happy to answer txt messages throughout our stay. Everything went as planned. The house is newly renovated and very nice. Large yard with great outdoor BBQ setting. Owners left us many games, Bocce, Badminton, spike ball, boogie boards, 8 bikes with locks. Definitely recommend.
