At night, sit around the fire on the beach, and roast marshmallows for s'mores,
We are located near the 6 mile marker on the Gravois Arm located in a quiet cove off of Soap Creek, and minutes away from the most popular restaurant/bars on the lake. The community has a launch ramp for putting in your boats or PWCs.
Places nearby: Fill up your boat with gas from the Gas Hole or The Jerk Shack both just short distance from the cove; experience traditional Jamaican food at The Jerk Shack (home of the famous "Bob Marley") . Two miles away by boat, enjoy the public beach, bar and restaurant at Coconuts, the "pirate life" at The Jolly Rogers Grub & Grog, and the food and drink at Richard Noggins, Frogs, and many other restaurants located near the house. The town of Laurie is about 8 miles by car from the house and has everything you need for groceries, bait, cinema, restaurants, medical care and golf. Harbour Hills Convenience Store is conveniently located on P Road for those last minute items. The outlet mall, Bagnell Dam Strip, go-karts, water parks, miniature golf, and other activities are located on the East side of the lake about 40 miles by car. Bridal Cave, Frankie and Louie's and Captain Ron's activities are a 20 minute ride from the house.
If you like to entertain you will love the convenience and open concept layout of the home. On the entry level you will find a large Master Bedroom with a king sized bed, private bath, and balcony; a well-equipped kitchen with a large island and bar stools; a dining area with seating for at least 6; a second full bath; and the main living area opening up to the sun room, deck and wrap-around porch. We also supply a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, bath and hand soap, dish detergent, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent. Please bring extra supplies for a large group, together with your own additional beach towels, personal toiletries, camera, fishing rods, floaties and sunscreen. In the garage there are some life vests, fishing rods, coolers and beach toys available to you. We do not have life vests in every size so we recommend you bring your own. Please do not bring in wood from outside the Ozarks area so we can help prevent bug infestation and tree disease.

About Bill and Meg Bromfield
Meg, our three boys and I live in Bainbiridge Island, Washington. In the summer of 2013 we came to the lake for a one week visit to my sister, Kathy Emke. We were skeptical about whether we were "lake people" but, as our visit extended into a second week, we realized we were. During our Summer 2014 visit we were told that the previous owners had moved to Washington State and were possibly interested in selling Finn Inn. We jumped at the chance to purchase our own lake home and closed on the sale in April 2015. Since closing, we have been making changes to meet our family's needs and are hopeful that the upgrades will make the Inn an even better place for our guests to vacation.

Why Bill and Meg Bromfield chose Gravois Mills
Finn Inn is located in a quiet family-oriented cove where my family can paddle boat, paddle board, water ski, swim, fish and boat. The house is large so it can accommodate our extended families. The house has the charm of the original small, knotty pine summer cabin with all the amenities of a modern day house. The neighbors have lived in the surrounding houses for generations which appealed to our sense of community. The house is also two doors from my sister's in-law's house that they have owned since 1984, and next to the house where my father now vacations.
What makes this House unique
The large, open main level provides a place for everyone to be together cooking, watching TV, playing games, or just hanging out. The second floor rec room is a great place for playing pool, video games, movie watching, or just getting away from the crowd. The wrap-around deck allows guest in the first floor master bedroom to slip outside for a quiet morning coffee or join the others on the main deck. The sun porch provides a panoramic view of the cove and Soap Creek so you won't miss the fog lifting off the water in the morning or the sunset in the evening. Enjoy sitting out on the private beach with a good book while everyone else swims off the dock during the day and enjoy roasting marshmallows in our fire pit in the evening.

Our initial thought after we arrived was Finn House was very clean and very well-stocked.
Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday-Sunday morning); there were 10 of us. Finn House accommodated is nicely. The cove was very quiet this holiday weekend, which for us, was perfect. Got in some great hours of successful fishing off the boat dock, which is big and nicely equipped with seating. I can see this house being the best place to stay over the summertime. Maybe we’ll have to do that some year. Thank you for opening your home.
Great lake house
We enjoyed a week at the Finn Inn and couldn't have been happier. This was our first trip to Lake of the Ozarks and it is a beautiful, huge lake. The home is well cared for and extremely well stocked. Having all of the outdoor amenities was a huge plus. We loved the stand up paddle boards and kayaks and used them every day. The home is on the quiet side of the lake in a quiet cove that made it very conducive to using them and floating off the dock. We stayed here with our family of 6 adults and a toddler. I'd highly recommend!
Wonderful lake escape!
The house is so lovely inside and out. There's plenty of room, games, toys, kayaks and paddle boards. The location can't be beat--calm cove close to KC. Everything was perfect. Thanks so much. We'll definitely be back!
Finn Inn is amazing! Our immediate family came from Boston, Charlotte, Flagstaff, and Tucson to enjoy the Inn. It was a wonderful week of love and laughter. There was no need to leave the beautiful property and lake except for groceries. Adults and kids constantly used the kayaks and paddle boards (provided) in the calm waters near the property. The pier had comfortable seating for evening adult time. A rented ski boat provided excitement and transportation to lakefront restaurants. Our adult children especially loved reconnecting in a relaxing fun environment. Loved our stay!
Hi, Ann! Sounds like your family had a great time at the Inn. With the deck, dock and beach areas there is something for everybody to do: kayaking, paddle boarding, catching some sun, playing in the sand, fishing, reading, etc. Seems like your family had a chance to do it all.
Thanks for thinking of us this year. We hope to see you and your family back next year.

Excellent place to enjoy the lake.
One of the best places we have stayed. Very well appointed and supplied. Included everything needed to enjoy the lake.
Thanks, John, for the compliments!! We try to think of everything our guests would need to make their vacation stressfree. Sounds like we met your expectations which is great to hear! Think of us in the off season - if you think the summers are great just wait until you see the fall. Fall colors, bonfires, and s'mores are the best!
Thanks again! Hope to see you and your family again.

Wonderful vacation at the Finn Inn!
This was our 5th year at the Finn Inn and we love it. The home is so nice and in a great location. Kiddos loved taking the paddle boat in the quiet cove. Owners were very quick to respond with any issues.
Thanks for staying at the Inn all these years!!! We strive to make it a great experience for our guests at Finn Inn. Hope to see you and your family next year.
