Finn Inn welcomes you with its warm knotty pine interior and fantastic lake views. Relax on the deck with its gas grill and enjoy the lake view. Use the Weber grill and hang out by the beach while dinner cooks. Read a book in the air-conditioned sun room, or choose to play pool in the upstairs rec room. If it is rainy, watch movies in front of one of three large flat screen TVs with your Hulu, Netflix, and other premium channel membership, play your video games on the X-Box One, or play one of several games and puzzles provided. If sunny, take a swim, soak in the sun on the beach and swim dock, or fish off the dock. Enjoy the provided paddle boat, paddle boards, and swim floats. Park your boat in the covered 10' x 30' slip available for you to use as well as cleats on the swim dock to tie off extra boats or Sea-doos. At night, sit around the fire on the beach, and roast marshmallows for s'mores,

We are located near the 6 mile marker on the Gravois Arm located in a quiet cove off of Soap Creek, and minutes away from the most popular restaurant/bars on the lake. The community has a launch ramp for putting in your boats or PWCs.

Places nearby: Fill up your boat with gas from the Gas Hole or The Jerk Shack both just short distance from the cove; experience traditional Jamaican food at The Jerk Shack (home of the famous "Bob Marley") . Two miles away by boat, enjoy the public beach, bar and restaurant at Coconuts, the "pirate life" at The Jolly Rogers Grub & Grog, and the food and drink at Richard Noggins, Frogs, and many other restaurants located near the house. H. Toad, Shady Gators, and Lazy Gators are within 7 miles by water on the 7 MM of the main channel. The town of Laurie is about 8 miles by car from the house and has everything you need for groceries, bait, cinema, restaurants, medical care and golf. Harbour Hills Convenience Store is conveniently located on P Road for those last minute items. The outlet mall, Bagnell Dam Strip, go-karts, water parks, miniature golf, and other activities are located on the East side of the lake about 40 miles by car. Bridal Cave, Frankie and Louie's and Captain Ron's activities are a 20 minute ride from the house.

If you like to entertain you will love the convenience and open concept layout of the home. On the entry level you will find a large Master Bedroom with a king sized bed, private bath, and balcony; a well-equipped kitchen with a large island and bar stools; a dining area with seating for at least 6; a second full bath; and the main living area opening up to the sun room, deck and wrap-around porch. Walk up the steps to the second level rec room and enjoy the media center and pool table. Off of the rec room are three bedrooms: one king, one queen, and one queen with a set of bunk beds. The first floor king is a standard plush mattress; the second floor king bedrooms has a Sleep Number mattress; the two upstairs queen beds have plush top mattresses; the bunk beds have twin sized mattresses.

We furnish dishes, silverware, drink ware, appliances; kitchen towels, bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels (if you forgot your own). We also supply a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, bath and hand soap, dish detergent, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent. Please bring extra supplies for a large group, together with your own additional beach towels, personal toiletries, camera, fishing rods, floaties and sunscreen. In the garage there are some life vests, fishing rods, coolers and beach toys available to you. We do not have life vests in every size so we recommend you bring your own. We have a set of binoculars for bird watching. We also provide starter firewood for the fire pit. Additional wood bundles may be purchased at Harbour Hills Convenience Store. Please do not bring in wood from outside the Ozarks area so we can help prevent bug infestation and tree disease.

The Inn has been in operation since 2011 and has consistently received 5 star ratings from its guests: "Awesome vacation home"; "Another Wonderful Week at the Finn Inn!"; "Wonderful spot for gathering with friends"; "PERFECT family spot at the Ozarks". Since April 2015 the Inn has been under new ownership but continues to provide the same great 5 Star experience. This year's guests said:

" Such a fun vacation!

We love the Finn Inn! We've stayed there twice now and will definitely return."

"Great Property!

Family did a mini reunion at Finn Inn. Loved the set-up of the house, Sun room, multiple decks and large dock. Nice to have a two car garage available to get out of the weather. Kitchen organization as easy for multiple cooks to work together. Game room had many options, including pool table. Weather was too nice to fully take advantage all games and activities inside. Outside, we let the kids fish and swim off the dock. Sat around fire on beach, great location! Overall we really enjoyed our vacation at Finn."

"Can't wait for next year!

We absolutely LOVED the Finn Inn! It was our first time putting our boat on the water this season and we had some problems. The community and surrounding neighbors helped immensely however they could. Everyone was SO friendly :) The house was absolutely beautiful and the layout worked perfectly for our large group. Dinners were so easy to cook with all of items available in the kitchen as well! The weather wasn't the best, but because of the location, we could still venture out during the breaks in rain because we were so close to some our favorite places. We will most definitely be back next year to stay at the Finn Inn again! Thank you so much for having us!!"

"Perfect yet again!

This was our second time at the Finn Inn and I think this was better than the last! There were little upgrades here and there, which were nice to see. We traveled with our 17-month-old-son and two other couples who had five small children between them. We fit in the Finn Inn with room to spare! Having two family rooms that allow the older kids to sleep or hang out while everyone else is downstairs is perfect. And the highlight of the trip, of course, is the dock equipped with some floaties and life jackets, the paddle boat, and swing. The kids couldn't get enough of jumping in the water and at night we roasted s'mores in the fire pit. The house has everything you need including a good-sized laundry room (where we put our pack 'n play) and were able to wash a few loads while we were there. The owners are always responsive and helpful and the cleaning crew shipped our baby monitor back immediately after we forgot it! We have made a ton of memories here already and plan to be back almost every year."

Come stay at the Finn Inn and make some memories!

About Bill and Meg Bromfield

Meg, our three boys and I live in Bainbiridge Island, Washington. In the summer of 2013 we came to the lake for a one week visit to my sister, Kathy Emke. We were skeptical about whether we were "lake people" but, as our visit extended into a second week, we realized we were. During our Summer 2014 visit we were told that the previous owners had moved to Washington State and were possibly interested in selling Finn Inn. We jumped at the chance to purchase our own lake home and closed on the sale in April 2015. Since closing, we have been making changes to meet our family's needs and are hopeful that the upgrades will make the Inn an even better place for our guests to vacation.

Bill and Meg Bromfield purchased this house in 2015

Why Bill and Meg Bromfield chose Lake of the Ozarks

Finn Inn is located in a quiet family-oriented cove where my family can paddle boat, paddle board, water ski, swim, fish and boat. The house is large so it can accommodate our extended families. The house has the charm of the original small, knotty pine summer cabin with all the amenities of a modern day house. The neighbors have lived in the surrounding houses for generations which appealed to our sense of community. The house is also two doors from my sister's in-law's house that they have owned since 1984, and next to the house where my father now vacations.

What makes this house unique

The large, open main level provides a place for everyone to be together cooking, watching TV, playing games, or just hanging out. The second floor rec room is a great place for playing pool, video games, movie watching, or just getting away from the crowd. The wrap-around deck allows guest in the first floor master bedroom to slip outside for a quiet morning coffee or join the others on the main deck. The sun porch provides a panoramic view of the cove and Soap Creek so you won't miss the fog lifting off the water in the morning or the sunset in the evening. Enjoy sitting out on the private beach with a good book while everyone else swims off the dock during the day and enjoy roasting marshmallows in our fire pit in the evening.
