Our stay at Winans in Grand Haven June 9- 11

  • 5 of 5

Clean, neat ,tastefully decorated, had everything we needed nice 3 season room with adjoining patio. We were there for my sons wedding at camp Blodgett. We were able to entertain out of town guests and although we didn't spend a lot of tIme at the house it certainly met all of our needs and was very comfortable. Close proximity to the camp and Lake Michigan

Very clean, wonderful handicap accessable suite.

  • 4 of 5

Thankful for garage on a rainy weekend. Had a little trouble getting key out of the lock box. (This should be addressed.) Handicap sweet is awesome! Everything very clean. Lots of room to visit and play games. Upstairs rooms are in converted attic - be prepared for stairs - rain storm during the night was very loud up there, and one bed is so squeaky no one could sleep in it. We had a problem with a toilet running, but told our hosts and it was taken care of immediately. A good price for the property.

Would stay here again if in the area because of the handicap suite and great hosts.

The perfect space!

  • 5 of 5

The property was in excellent condition and had little nuggets we hadn't expected, like the game room out back. Would love to return in warmer weather to take advantage of the fire pit. Overall the property met our needs and we would return!

A nice setup for a larger family gathering

  • 4 of 5

We just stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving. It worked for our group, and had the weather been nicer, the four seasons room and outdoor space would have been used even more.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for myself and 11 family members to come together from all over the United States to join in a family reunion. The property was clean, well stocked with linens, dish ware, condiments and other miscellaneous food items. The owners were available should any problems occur (which didn't occur), and checked to see if everything was all right, but weren't hanging over us. They were very cooperative when one of our people forgot a stuffed animal, allowing us to pick it up the following day. The property is handicap accessible, which wasn't mandatory in our case, however the master shower was a tiled room so you just walked in the shower, yet plenty of room to dry off -- I wanted to bring it home! The home was well maintained, included washer and dryer, had plenty of games and things to do. The only thing lacking, was wi-fi. We enjoyed the musical fountain in downtown Grand Haven, and were close to other family members in Spring Lake. Some enjoyed antique-ing, others golfed. Groceries and fresh fruit and vegetables were readily available. The yard and the neighborhood were pleasant and enjoyable. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and Myra and Jerry. I would come again if our family could get together again.
