About Jenny Lou Reynolds
Originally from So. California, the lure of wide open spaces, blue skies, incredible sunsets, starry nights, friendly folks and of course SEDONA, captured this girl l! 16 years ago she took a leap of faith and turned her back on crowded beaches, congested traffic and Lord knows, just too many people! She has never looked back. Serving the community as an active licensed Realtor, she has gained great joy and knowledge of the area. It does not take long to realize it is not ALL about the Red Rocks! This lush Verde Valley has a plethora of amenities, treasures and history. Rich in heritage and places to go, you will surely have a memorable trip. This lovely ranch was recently just purchased and The Ranch House suite has been open for guests as of August 8th, 2015. Hospitality has been one of Jenny’s strengths and she looks forward to offering you one of your very best lodging experiences. Prepare to be AMAZED and bathed in comfort!! Anxious to meet you soon!! Happy to serve, Jenny Lou

Absolutely amazing place... it was incredibly beautiful there. The accommodations rival that of a 5 star hotel and then some and Jenny is an extraordinary host! Her 4-legged co-host Little John, Bella and Ruby were a joy to have around and play with. We loved it here and will definitely stay again on our next visit!!!
A Wonderful Surprise
The Ranch House is a little Shangri la ... an easy drive to nearby Sedona. The setting is beautiful with lots of trees and views of the green peaks in the distance. The living space reminded me of a 5-star B&B including all you could possibly want during your stay. We were welcomed with bottled water and cookies and even a bottle of half and half for morning coffee. Great shower and comfortable bed. Reading chairs and a breakfast table with a view. Jenny has thought of everything.
10 Year Anniversary!
My husband and I just spent our 10 year anniversary in beautiful Camp Verde, AZ. We booked our stay at the Ranch House and I can tell you, we left a piece of our hearts there when we said goodbye! The property is surrounded with gorgeous landscaping and quiet mountain views. The room was so pretty and had everything we needed, including great coffee each morning! The owner, Jenny Lou, is an absolute Arizona keepsake! She made us feel welcome in a minute and was full of information about the area, history, restaurants, attractions, etc. She gave us maps and highlighted must-see places and encouraged us to enjoy the beauty of her state. A short drive takes you to Sedona and I highly recommend a day trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! Fill your days with exploring and return to the quiet comfort of the Ranch House Retreat. My husband and I are already planning our return and I bet you'll want to do the same! Enjoy!
we could not be more pleased with how delighted you and Tim were with your Arizona Getaway here! Loved hearing your daily accounts of all your exciting discoveries. Thank you so much for being such enthusiastic and gracious guests... Happy trails and COME BACK QUICK!!
You Can't Beat the Ranch House Retreat!
My wife and I recently stayed at the Ranch House over our spring vacation. We had an excellent stay! First things first - Jenny Lou Reynolds has put a lot of effort into making visitors to her ranch comfortable. It was evident from our first communication and all the way through the time we spent at her retreat.
Jenny is an affable and attentive host who took great pride in her home, her community, and making certain her guests had a pleasant experience. The retreat itself is well maintained and our quarters were exceedingly comfortable and immaculate. We had enough space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. And we especially appreciated Jenny’s hospitality, as evidenced routinely by tasty treats left in the basket outside our entranceway daily.
Our intention in staying at the Ranch House was to have an affordable but well-kept, scenic location to use as a home-base for visiting all that Camp Verde and the surrounding area has to offer. We were not disappointed! Many activities and points of interest were easily within driving distance, and we packed in a ton of adventures during our stay. We also enjoyed the short strolls we could take in the neighborhood. Being from the NJ shore, we delighted in the rustic sights that are in close proximity to Jenny Lou’s retreat - horse farms, cattle fields, pecan orchards, cottonwood and mesquite, and of course the neighborhood celebrity - “Little Burro” (a.k.a “Don-key-o-tay!”) And if you are a dog fan, as we are, you’ll enjoy getting to meet Jenny Lou’s pups: Bella, Ruby, and John Boy!
If there were any regrets, a personal one of mine was not making proper use of the porch area that overlooks Jenny Lou’s property. The property is so nicely landscaped, with a view of the mountains in the distance, that it would have made a perfect landing spot to kick up the feet and enjoy a cold beverage, especially in the late afternoon. Next time!
If you plan on making a get-away to the Sedona area, we would highly recommend the Ranch House retreat. Sedona is an easy 45 minute drive north. Camp Verde has some great places to eat that are close to home, and if you need to fill up on provisions, there’s Bashas’ grocery, Dollar General, etc.
One note - the Ranch House retreat is on a hard-water system. Make sure you pick up potable water on your way in (Jenny Lou set us up with a few gallons, but water is a must in the climate so make sure you have what you need).
We had a great time. Thanks Jenny!
tank you so much Jersey Shore guests! You really outlined the highlights of this area for future visitors! So delighted to have hosted such an appreciative couple. Laughed out loud with your inclusion of “Little Burro” (a.k.a “Don-key-o-tay!”)
He indeed is the neighborhood celebrity! Many thanks again for a most concise/favorable review of The
Ranch House Retreat! Hurry back soon!
Tom & Mary’s Awesome Stay
We stayed 4 nights and couldn’t have been more pleased. The guesthouse was very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. A great place to relax in a quiet setting. Jenny was a pleasure to meet, helpful, friendly and provided a personal touch to our stay. We would definitely return.
Quiet place in the country
This was a wonderful, quiet retreat in Camp Verde. It was surprising how much there is to see and do in Camp Verde. The restaurants are great, too. Jenny is a great host. The room is comfortable, clean and well appointed. Be aware that the room is up a long flight of stairs above the garage, and the stairway is the only access. Jenny knocked herself out taking good care of us.
