Located in the Historic District of Key West just blocks from Duval Street. It is a luxury two-story 3 bedroom, 3-bathroom home surrounded by white picket fence and beautiful landscaping. The property is newly renovated with lovely wood floors throughout. The home includes beautiful décor with an open floor plan and tall ceilings. A study that will excite with a secret door that leads into another room. The open kitchen unites with the living area, great for relaxing or entertaining. Wonderful natural light throughout the house makes for nice, luxurious, relaxing ambience. This home also includes a cottage in the back of the property overlooking the pool. Nice and cozy, excellent for a couple.


The grand kitchen has large granite countertops, luxury stainless steel appliances and all the cooking essentials you will need to make regular meals at the house. The kitchen hallway closet includes a brand new innovative washer and dryer. Next to the kitchen is the family room that has two comfortable couches that are surrounded by French doors that open into the scenic pool and cabana area, which includes outdoor seating. Adjacent to the living room is the breakfast nook with a cozy wood table that also overlooks the pool area with French doors leading outside. The nook connects to a full bath, which leads to the study with a secret door…very intriguing. The study includes a desk, a sleeper sofa, a flat screen television, beautiful built-in shelving along the wall and some assorted nautical decorations. The formal dining table can seat 8-10 people, sit across from the study.


Up the beautiful wood staircase is a full bathroom to the left, and to the right is the second and third bedroom. Both beautifully decorated, each bedroom includes a queen bed, closet, and ceiling fan. Pier out of the large windows at the palm trees, which gives a nice tropical modern feel. Across the hallway, lies the master bedroom. A king bed, television, ceiling fan, a large walk in closet, and an en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, the study offers a sleeper sofa, enough space for two people. In addition, a cozy cottage sits in the back of the house overlooking the pool. Plenty of room for two people, it includes AC, queen bed, and a full bathroom. Walk right out onto the deck and take a dip in the pool!


This is why Key West is so great! Sit outside by the pool and in the comfortable cabana area. Although the home is luxurious and beautiful, you may find yourself spending even more time in the pool area. The feeling of a tropical oasis that will transport you into another world, a Key West world. If you have been to Key West before, you know how important it is to have a pool. The Bougainvillea House spoils you with its large, heated pool surrounded by lush landscaping. The entire property is lined with a completed fence so, if you plan to bring your furry friends they will be free to roam around with no worries.

We love this property

We rate it a 5, but only since there is not a higher scale. The property is beautiful and well maintained. This is the fourth different house we have rented in Key West over several years, and this is by far the nicest, and that is saying a lot because the other were all nice. Truman and Company was great to work with and Brian, the property manager was excellent. We have only good things to say and and are looking forward to renting it next year.

Fabulous Vacation Retreat

Our stay at the Bougainvillea House was outstanding, and the home itself was perfect for our diverse family. The house is exactly what it claims itself to be and more.

The pool house was the perfect spot for offering privacy to those family members who really wanted it (my MIL), or were dirty Key West stay outs (my brother) and didn't want to disturb the rest of the family with their late night antics. The remaining upstairs bedrooms were perfect for our family and the midstay housecleaning was a nice way to welcome the next round of guests. The covered pool deck (lanai?) was the perfect gathering spot during the heat of the day with a cool drink and great place to hang out with the dogs... the fact that the house was dog friendly is a HUGE plus for us. The enclosed yard and secure fencing allowed me to not worry too much about my 10 and 15pounder escaping anywhere.

The house was exceptionally clean and well cared for, with all the amenities of home and then some, even with the small things. Being a huge fan of french press coffee and knowing this was a vacation rental, I was not expecting one to be there when we arrived, however not only was there one, there were three to choose from, nice touch. (Ironically, we ended up loving the brand new Kuerig as everyone got up at different times, loved it so much I bought the same one as soon as I got home). The library was an incredible room to spend a rainy day in and to work in when necessary and the living room was a great place to receive friends and have conversation in.

The location of the house was perfect, so close to Harpoon Harry's, BO's, Dante's, the Wharf and shopping... perfect for my 80yo mother, who couldn't walk too far and didn't want to walk Duval St. but still wanted to get out and about a bit, for breakfast, lunch and a little window shopping.

As far as the management company went, they were fabulous. There was nothing that was overlooked and anytime we had a worry, issue or concern, Brian was over to address it almost immediately and it was taken care of. Couldn't be happier with both Truman & Co and the Bougainvillea House, and we look forward to staying again next year! Big Thanks to the homeowners and Truman & Co for a fabulous stay!

A non-refundable and non-taxable security deposit insurance premium at a flat rate of $45.00 will be added to each reservation as an alternative to a full security deposit. This policy covers up to $3000.00 worth of accidental damages. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS please alert our reservationist so she can update your quote. Guests without a U.S. address are not eligible for the damage insurance policy and must submit a refundable security deposit equivalent to 20% of the reservation total (not to exceed $3,000).

We reserve the right to deny requested dates if they decrease the optimum booking layout for the property's calendar.

All guests must be at least 25 years of age to be considered. All guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Spring break groups are prohibited and eviction strictly enforced with no refund.

A booking fee will be added to each reservation.

50% is due upon reservation with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival.

Guests are strictly prohibited from hosting a party or event at the rental property without written permission from our company.
