A hidden gem for relaxing with friends
Bentley Lodge was amazing. We were relaxed from the moment we arrived. Absolutely everything was perfect from the milk and prosecco in the fridge, to the sauna and the super comfy beds! It feels like you are a million miles from anything with the sound of the falls and the birds often the only sounds you can hear. Just a short drive away from Bridgnorth or taxi-we used Bridgnorth taxis for £7 each way. Location was perfect. We will definitely be returning!
A relaxing weekend away
We had a lovely, relaxing weekend in this beautiful area.
The lodge was well appointed, warm and tastefully furnished.
The beds and chairs were very comfortable.
It was great to have a bathroom per couple.
We will definitely be returning.

Astbury Hall is a new and exciting 27 hole championship golf course being built situated just up Astbury Lane and surrounded by Shropshire’s uppermost beautiful and dramatic countryside. With 9 holes now completed , and a second nine holes near completion, Astbury is well on the way to its goal of being the premiership golfing and leisure facility in the county. Contact Astbury Hall manager Sean Jarvis - 07547 747707. Owned by rock group Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, the course has an excellent balance of being of premier standard, without the stuffiness normally associated with high-end golf clubs. KK has said 'Although the course and all its amenities will be high-end, it won't be the sort of place that would run Rodney Dangerfield out of the clubhouse'
