There is a feeling of nature and tranquility in the peaceful, outdoor environment yet close to all modern conveniences in Maggie Valley and surrounding areas. The cabin is very clean and is tastefully decorated which makes it a cozy retreat. The home sleeps six people comfortably. We are kid and pet friendly. We also own the house next door which is great for larger parties wanting to say next to each other.

This single story home has been completely redone with brand new appliances, new washer/dryer, central heat & AC, wood burning fireplace, hot tub, cable, high speed WiFi, 2 master bedrooms & bathrooms, sleeper sofa and a deck that wraps around the house. The home is surrounded by beauty and can be enjoyed as you sit and relax in the rocking chairs on the covered back porch nestled among the trees. The side deck has a gas grill and picnic table which are great for enjoying a nice meal or playing games/cards with loved ones. There is also a hot tub, perfect after a long day of hiking, or enjoying a morning cup of coffee.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and small appliances- everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal. The home has a wood burning fireplace in the family room and is a great place to relax, read a good book or make smores’ with the kids. We encourage you to open up the door and go for a hike around the property to enjoy all of its natural beauty. This cabin truly provides you with all the comforts of home.

About Brandon Jones

Hi there! I was born and raised in South Florida and that there is where I still reside with my wife and 3 children. Living down here in paradise where it’s always summer is great, but when we go on vacation we like to head up to the mountains for a change of scenery. We like Maggie Valley, NC because you get you experience all the seasons. Our goal is to visit our home 4 times a year, one visit for each season. There is so much to do and see no matter what season it is.

We have put a lot of work into our house in order to make it feel like your own home away from home. During your stay with us, we hope enjoy all the amenities that the home as to offer. We have one rule– take a deep breath, breathe in the clean mountain air, relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.

*** UPDATE *** We moved from South Florida to Charlotte, NC in 2016. We fell in love with the mountains and wanted to be closer to the house. Now we are less than a 3 hour drive away and can take advantage of going to the house a lot more. North Carolina gives us a taste of all 4 seasons vs. Florida where its summer all year long.

Why Brandon Jones chose Maggie Valley

We own the house next door (Fernbrook Treehouse) and when this house went on the market for sale we purchased it! We love this location so much we thought it would be great to have two houses right next door to each other for gatherings with family and friends. There are only 6 houses on our street so its very quiet and peaceful.

What makes this house unique

Single story, dual master bedrooms and bathrooms. Amazing screened porch, hot tub, wifi, extremely clean.

We so loved this was clean .neat and warm. Its in the perfect location to do just about anything..Once you figure out where your at. we did have a slight problem locating the property..but once we got was worth all the trouble. One little quirk...need to supply more trash bags. We really like your place..only wish we could have stayed just a few more days.

Very peaceful and enjoyable!

The steep winding roads to get to the property were a little tricky at first. Just go slow and steady and you'll be fine. The house was cozy and clean as advertised, and the hot tub was a great treat. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Owner's Response: The initial drive up can be a little spooky if it's not what you are used to. After a couple trips it becomes second nature. Glad you enjoyed the house and got to take advantage of the hot tub! Thanks for your review!

Clean and comfortable.

A very nice place. It's a fairly long twisting drive up to it so if that bothers you it might not be the cabin for you. The nosiest neighbors were the woodpeckers.

Owner's Response: It is about a 6 - 7 minute drive up the mountain from the main road. Not to low, but not to high...its about half way up the mountain. As long as you take your time and enjoy the drive up and down it's not a problem. Thanks so much for your feedback. Sorry for the neighbors :-)

The cabin was very cozy & in a very peaceful location with beautiful views and was perfect for our pets. The cabin had everything that you would need for cooking and relaxing in the jacuzzi and had a barbecuing area with a picnic table .We would definitely come back & stay again at the Smoky Mountain Treehouse in Maggie Valley.
