Rione VI Parione Apartment Rental Photos and Description

House, 1 Bedroom, 1 Living room, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

La Casa del Conte (The Earl’s House) is a cosy B&B Suite in the center of Rome between Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, 10 minutes walk from St. Peter’s Basilica. With most of the city's landmarks at its doorstep, it is an excellent home base for touring Rome by foot.

La Casa del Conte has a recently refurbished double suite with a private entrance, set in a historic building on the 2nd floor with lift.

The suite is very cosy and sunny, elegantly appointed with original antique furniture dating back generations of the owner's ancient family. It consists of a double room and an adjoining lounge with free Wi-Fi internet connection, air conditioner, heating, mini fridge, en-suite bathroom.

The self contained suite includes a parquet floored living room with a comfortable two seater sofa and a desk. The Bedroom has two capacious wardrobes and a chest of drawers, parquet flooring and a period queen sized (160×200 cm) double bed in brass with orthopaedic mattress. The Bathroom comprises an en suite shower and is fully accessorised with a hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo, and shower gel.

The Suite offers you the following amenities: Breakfast, Air Conditioning and Heating, Free Wi-Fi, Cleaning lady (twice to three times weekly), Keetle and cups with tea, infusions, Nescafè and sugar and is also equipped with a 32' Sony Flat television, CD-DVD reader with music and movie library, Safe, Mini fridge, Soundproof Windows and Private entrance with fortified door.

In the Suite there is no kitchen.

Italian Breakfast will be served at the typically Italian bar nearby the B&B (which features comfortable inside and outside seating) and comprises of: 1 Cappuccino or Coffee or Tea, 1 Fruit Juice, 1 Cornetto (Roman sweet croissant).

Thanks to its central location you will be drawn into the fascinating weaving of tucked away streets and alleys that constitutes Rome's Centro Storico. At a stone throw are Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, Saint Peter's basilica and the enchanting Campo de'Fiori open air market.

Transport to all other areas of the city is in easy reach. A bus stop just round the building's corner connects the area to the Termini Station, San Peter's Basilica, Vatican, Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, and Fori Imperiali.

Staying in the Centro Storico you will immediately be in touch with the capital's lifestyle, with bars, restaurants and high fashion boutiques just around the corner, as well as bookshops, chemists, antique dealers, supermarkets, banks with cash points, postal and tourist offices.

E’ stato un weekend speciale, anche per il piacere di rifugiarmi nella sua casa, un angolo di casa mia. Complimenti per la cura di ogni dettaglio e per essere riuscita a farmi sentire uno di voi.

Little bit of home in Rome!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is the perfect base for sightseeing with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance and a choice of buses on the doorstep for those further afield.

It is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with antique furniture and pictures, and the owner, who is charming and welcoming, has thought of everything. Nothing is too much trouble. There is plenty of local information.

Breakfast vouchers are given for breakfast in a local cafe. The apartment is like a little bit of home in Rome and we would not would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone wishing to spend a few days in Rome.

Lovely Suite

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay is this elegant suite in the heart of Rome. Olivella, our charming hostess and owner was accommodating and helpful. The suite is perfect for the sightseeing travelers who want comfortable accommodations at the end of a busy day of sight seeing.

Olivella's attention to detail provides a book of directions, instructions, restaurant suggestions, converter plugs, coffee and tea as well as a connection to a great cab service to the airport!

Perfect home away from home in Rome

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for four nights, and felt fortunate to have found this lovely apartment. It is beautifully decorated, quiet, and clean. We appreciated the little touches like umbrellas, guide books , CDs and DVDs, the tea kettle in the room. The included breakfast at a local cafe was great. You are literally in the middle of everything in Rome. It's just a few minutes walk to Campo Fiore, Piazza Navona, the Vatican and the Colosseum. There is a bus stop and a taxi stand very near, and a grocery store, great restaurants, and a wash and dry nearby. We loved wandering down the little streets right across Victor Emmanuele Blvd.

Great place to stay and see Rome

  • 5 of 5

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Olivella right away. Her lovely apartment was clean and very comfortable. Having WiFi access was really great. It allowed us to keep in touch with family back in the states. We were also thankful for the air conditioning since it was very hot in July. The location of the apartment was everything we had hoped for. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We walked to Piazza Navona, Campo Di Fiori Market (literally right down the street). We also walked to the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. We had an early tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel so we took a cab there in the morning. It was even closer than the Colosseum so walked home from both places. So much to see in Rome. We also walked to a lovely park just beyond the Spanish steps. So many great cafes everywhere! Olivella had maps and guide books available to us in the apartment that were a great help in finding our way around this ancient city. Breakfast at a local cafe was included and such a nice bonus! Olivella was the perfect host and available to us right next door if we needed her. 4 days was not enough!

A beautiful, central, ideal apartment to explore the highlights of Rome easily by foot.

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the look and feel of this perfectly presented suite and felt at home immediately, helped by the generous hospitality and welcome by the lovely Olivella. We were delighted to be so close to all the places that we wanted to visit in Rome, and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast chocolate croissant, Orange juice and fabulous coffee sitting outside of the local cafe every morning, all part of the package. It was the perfect stay, and we would highly recommend it! We hope to return again in the future.

Highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

Whilst this is a small apartment, it is immaculate in every way. Clearly, a lot of pride is taken in the presentation of the property and it makes it very welcoming and comfortable. The location is ideal for access to the main sightseeing spots and all around are off street restaurants and markets. We wrote in Olivella's guest book that " we love your city and we love your apartment. Thank you for sharing both with us" That about sums it up. We would love to go back one day.
