We had a wonderful stay at the longville cabin as usual. Everybody had a great time and nobody wanted to leave. I would recommend this place to anybody.
We stayed here in late July for 2 nights. We were originally booked for 3 nights but unfortunately a huge storm left the cabin without any power or water. So we waited a day to check in. The owner of the property called right away to inform us of the situation. He was awesome to work with and luckily power came back on the next day. We wish we had been able to make it for our entire reservation as it is an amazing area. My husband and I stayed with our toddler and a few other family members. The cabin was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen as well as linens. The fire wood supplied was a huge plus for us! The yard was awesome and the swing set was great for our son. The view of the lake was amazing. There are loons everywhere and the water was so calm and peaceful. TherE were hardly any other boats out on the water. We made great use of the fishing boat (we fit about 4 people comfortably) and canoe that were provided! We are definitely keeping this cabin in mind for future getaways! Hoping to make a trip in the fall as well!
We have 4 young kids and this place was just perfect for us. The kids caught lots of fish just right off the dock, and enjoyed playing on the beach and on the edge of the water. Beautiful, peaceful small lake, and with trees surrounding it is very private and just perfect for a relaxing getaway. I did not notice on the listing, but there is a small boat with an electric trolling motor which was great to take out and fish around the lake. The cabin is simple, but comfortable, with lovely views of the lake. We will be back. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
My friends and I have rented this cabin for the past 2 summers and we couldn't ask for a better place. It's quiet and secluded and the lake is great for fishing! We were catching everything off the dock including sunfish, perch, bass, and northern. The lake is very clean and clear and great for swimming. There's plenty of room on the lot and is perfect for yard games and the bonfire pit is located just steps from the lake shore and it makes for some great pictures at sunset. The rate of the rental is more than worth it and the cabin is in a perfect location and is within a 10 minute drive from town. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 15 month old son. We all had a great time! The cabin was open, spacious and cozy for our family. The large porch was great for meals outside and watching the sunset! We had great weather so our son was able to enjoy the nice sandy beach. No weeds or rocks, just sand! The fishing boat was perfect and we were able to catch a meal of large mouth bass on the south side of the lake. Fishing from the dock was pretty good although most of the fish were quite small. If it weren't for the cabins present on the shoreline, it felt almost like the boudary waters...no large boats, jet skis or much noise from anywhere. Very peaceful! Would definitely consider staying here again!
