Kalispell Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Located at 338 Main Street/Kalispell, Mt. Camas Flats #3 is a fully restored vacation flat in the heart of downtown Kalispell. Only a few doors down from Kalispell Brewery! and within walking distance from the finest dining, art galleries, coffee shops, specialty boutiques and stores the city has to offer; and just minutes by car from Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, two ski resorts, miles of hiking trails, and the resort towns of Whitefish and Bigfork.

Camas Flats #3 is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment that sleeps 1-4 people. It is located above the largest yarn shop in Montana, and has been extensively renovated by the owners to be clean, comfortable, and convenient. It is one of three flats on the second floor, all operated as VRBOs.

It has an open kitchen/living area with hardwood floors. The kitchen contains all new stainless-steel appliances. A bar area with four stools lets you dine in style, then you can relax on the comfortable leather couch and chairs while visiting or watching TV. The bedroom has a new pillow-top queen size bed, lots of storage space, and views over the city to the west. The living room couch converts to a queen-sized sofa sleeper. There's a front-loading washer/dryer so you can keep up with the laundry. The bathroom has a large full-tile shower, a wall mounted blow-dryer, and is stocked with large, fluffy bath towels.

We welcome pets!

About Melanie Cross

Melanie loves to knit and to design knitwear, and her yarn shop keeps her busy. Andy is a finish carpenter and spends a lot of time at the shop as well. (He designed and built the storefront after Melanie fell in love with the look of the old buildings in Berlin.)

Melanie and Andy enjoy fishing and other outdoor activities, and have traveled the world visiting their adventurous children.

Melanie Cross purchased this apartment in 2007

Why Melanie Cross chose Montana

Melanie and Andy bought a beautiful old building on Kalispell's Main Street in 2007, then spent a year renovating it top to bottom with a dream of opening a yarn store and providing luxury urban apartments for rent. This is their first forray into VRBO, and they're excited to offer three centrally-located flats.

Pretty condo in a great location

  • 4 of 5

This condo was really pretty...it looked just like the photos. Spotless when we arrived. Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Comfy bed. Excellent location...an easy hour drive up to Glacier each day. We enjoyed walking to dinner each night...lots of good restaurants within a couple of blocks. Kitchen could have used a few extra plates and coffee mugs (there were 4 of each). Kind of odd with the glass block Windows everywhere....we could only see outside from the Windows behind the bed. A little noisy...we were in the back unit, so a little less road noise than the front, but the people coming and going to the other units made quite a bit of noise coming up and down the metal stairs in the back and walking up and down the wooden hallway. Overall a great place to stay. If we were coming to the area again, we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, in the heart of downtown. Quiet and secluded private entry. The washer and dryer are a really nice touch. Will book again, no more hotels in Kalispell for us!!

Great central location to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Bigfork area.

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stayed at this loft and our impression was that the loft was clean and well equipped for our stay of 6 nights. The entrance is through the alley door (second floor) which can be a little intimidating especially since we arrived after dark. You'll need to locate the key box which is on the railing .. left of the door. It was dark and it took us a while to work it out. Once we were inside the loft everything was as it should be. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

LOVED IT! (Great Location )

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was awesome. Very modern and all amenities. Within walking to Moose's (our fave) for best pizza & beer, and Super 1 grocery.

After eating the great food Kalispell & Whitefish have to offer did not mind the walk and stairs to access the place. Would definately return.

Happy from Calgary, Canada!!

Very nice apartment in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this apartment while visiting friends in Bigfork and going to Glacier National Park. The apartment itself was great - very nicely decorated and extremely clean; it had everything you would expect or need. Having a refrigerator and full kitchen makes it even better than a hotel!

It was centrally located in Kalispell - and was right in between our two destinations (Bigfork and Glacier). Very convenient for us! It was nice having bakeries and other restaurants right in the same block.

The owners were pleasant and easy to work with. It was probably the easiest experience I've ever had renting a place - VRBO, hotel or otherwise. It was all around a great visit; we would stay here again.
